- • Air conditioning was broken. Room temperature was around 30 degrees. Windows could only be tilted. Therefore, we hardly slept.

- • The hairdryer in the bathroom is "silly". No parking offer for the duration of the vacation. Sorry, you can get a normal price anywhere.

During a heatwave, neither a functioning air conditioning nor ventilation was possible, an imposition!

- • During the peak of a heatwave, the air conditioning did not work. During check-in, we were told it would not run at full capacity. That was incorrect, it did not work at all, and the room became unbearably hot. In the middle of the night, we requested to open the windows to at least ventilate, but were refused with the explanation that it was not allowed. Finally, at 1 a.m., we were transferred to the neighboring hotel. Under these circumstances, the hotel should not have rented a room if neither air conditioning nor ventilation was possible!

- • During check-in late at night, I was given a room key for a room that was already occupied. The poor man was woken up by me (a stranger woman in his room). The staff member reacted relatively indifferently to the incident. As a solo female traveler, sleep was out of the question for me afterwards. Upon requesting a refund, I was offered a free night or a restaurant voucher, as a refund was not possible due to the Booking reservation. Booking, on the other hand, had already contacted the hotel and requested a full refund, but there was radio silence from the hotel thereafter. I find it shocking that such a serious security breach is possible in the system of a 4-star hotel. The employee's reaction seemed as if it was not the first time. And the fact that the hotel then refuses to refund is truly outrageous.
