- • Clearly not a five star hotel. Old facilities. Terrible acoustics as you could hear other rooms clearly. Away from town. Poor breakfast.
An excellent and relaxing stay
A lovely place to relax, with excellent connections to the city center (via bus service) and magnificent views. The rooms are very spacious, well-decorated, and well-equipped. The breakfast is plentiful. I recommend it.

Spectacular view!
Xelena Hotel & Suites was our home for 4 nights and 5 days on our visit to El Calafate, Argentina. Located a bit away from downtown, Xelena is a luxurious hotel in a beautiful location with magnificent views. Our spacious lake view room had spectacular views, comfortable bed and all the essential amenities. The breakfast spread was amazing and the service was good. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

Excellent stay in El Calafate.
Extremely attentive staff. Comfortable rooms. Pool with a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast, served from 6 am, which is great for days when the tours start early.
