Fabulous stay
Just back from a wonderful stay. The people, the food, the service, the pool and bar areas are absolutely beautiful. We had a fabulous stay a special thank you to Mohamed who looked after us around the pool area We walked into the medina and souks on a number of occasions which was around 15 mins walk away Only negative was that staff around the pool were taking guests towels and belongings off sunbeds if they had left the area for a swim or to go into breakfast. I agree with not being able to reserve sunbeds but this felt a little extreme

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Sofitel Marrakech, which fell far below the standards expected of a property of this reputation. Firstly, the service was shockingly poor. I ordered a simple coffee, and despite repeated follow-ups, it took over an hour to arrive. This level of delay is unacceptable, especially in a hotel that claims to offer premium hospitality. Secondly, the lack of basic room service attention was evident. There was no turndown service provided until 5 PM, which is unusually late and disrupts the overall guest experience. This reflects a clear lack of organization and attention to detail. Most concerning, however, was a serious safety issue. A curtain rod fell on my head during my stay. Not only was this alarming and potentially dangerous, but the complete lack of concern or response from the staff afterward was unacceptable. There was no proper apology, no urgency, and no effort to address the situation in a professional manner. Overall, this experience was disappointing, frustrating, and concerning. I expected much better from Sofitel Marrakech, but unfortunately, the service, safety standards, and guest care were severely lacking.

Great time
Great location, solid breakfast, good pools (love the mix in temperatures), and superb, friendly staff (Taoufik and Mustapha were excellent and made sure we had a fun and secure time whenever we went to the medina). Need to fix the table tennis table by the pool.

Nice family holiday but 4 star not 5 star hotel
A nice hotel but not a 5 star hotel or experience. Rooms were quite basic and the bathroom in our second room had an odd smell. Breakfast felt a battle to get a table (with place settings) and tea/coffee took a very long time to arrive (sometimes required two reminders).

Great hotel and staff
A beautiful resort close to the city centre. We had a stunning suite that was all we could wish for. Breakfast is very nice, a great buffet, quite busy at peak times so a short wait for tables but overall fine. A special mention to Hotesse oumaima and Setbi hicham who provided great service at and around the pool. Only feedback I have is they need menus as well as the QR codes, the QR codes are hard to access and read by phone. I expect better at this price point.

Excellent hotel in great location
This was an excellent hotel. Morocco was a ton of fun. We had a really nice room. The pools was nice, and the breakfast was good. Staff were really nice. Good gym. Very central location. One recommendation to management, you had 8 people working in baggage services, but only three working to check people in. It took 20 minutes to check in, maybe swap those numbers. And I really don't want help with my bags, it takes longer and is more of a hassle. But they kept wanting to take my one small bag, it just isn't helpful. Maybe if I had a couple of large bags, but that is rare. Same with the Valet, they drove it 5 meters and parked it. I would have paid the same to park it myself. Instead, I had to wait 10 minutes for a car I could see right in front of me. It is just an inefficient process.

I had a really lovely experience at the hotel, and what truly made it special was Manal. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed, like I was at home. Her professionalism and positive energy really stood out she’s truly an asset to the hotel🤰🤰 I would also like to mention the valet team, who were all very kind and helpful. The bellboys (luggage attendants) were also extremely friendly and professional ,they made everything so easy and pleasant. A special thanks as well to Oussama at reception for his warm and professional service. There was just a small moment with one of the door man at the entrance that made me feel slightly uncomfortable, but overall it did not affect my experience, as everyone else was very nice and welcoming. Thank you again for such a pleasant stay.

Amazing experience
The location is convient, close to every where. I enjoyed the hotel atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and comfortable with special treat every day. It was quite to relax in the room, and other places in the hotel. The smell was very pleasant and I enjoyed it. The best part of my visit was the freshness and the quality of the food and the choices provided by Chef Ahmed. It was so creative and delicious. I will go back anytime I have a chance.
