Exceptional wheelchair accommodation

The location and the atmosphere in the hotel are excellent. The pricing for the room is outstanding and affordable. The wheelchair accessible room was excellent, the bed was the height of my manual wheelchair, it was so comfortable until I was not able to get up for breakfast this morning, because of savoring the last comfortable moments. The bathroom has bars around the shower making it very accessible for a person to move from their chair or walker to the shower bench. The person who designed this room has experience with people that need accessibility. I had an excellent experience.

The staff is never at the desk, just messing around in the lobby on the phone and their children are running around. That's the least of my concerns. The elevator is sketchy. The hallway to our room had trash strewn about. Our room was dirty. The beds and floor had dark red stains. The walls had mildew stains around the top. The remote to the TV was missing a battery. The front desk button on the phone did not work. The paint in the bathroom was flaking and peeling, and the tub and toilet themselves were dingy and dirty looking. The AC unit started leaking water everywhere so the carpet was soaked in half the room. I don't recommend coming here. I stayed one night and it was overpriced. Their breakfast is also lame and pretty much nothing. Just pastries and cereal and juice. I didn't even want to go to the pool after seeing the state of everything else.

Beware

When I got to this hotel on 7/17/26, I immediately wanted to leave but all the other hotels were booked solid. We stayed there and was woken up in the middle of the night by the fire alarm making a quick noise. People were out in the halls trying to figure out what was going on. On Saturday night upon returning to the hotel, we couldn't use the refrigerator for our leftovers because it was frozen. When I went to take a bath, the towels had dark spots and pubic hairs on them so I called the front desk. The lady told me I had to come down to the desk to get more towels. My daughter went into the closet to get another sheet out and a roach ran out. I called the front desk and told them I was leaving. She offered me another room but at that point, I couldn't not sleep there. When I spoke to the supervisor, he said I would be refunded accordingly. I had paid for 3 nights and only stayed one night. They refunded me for one night stating the room was utilized for the whole day Saturday because my stuff was in it and I did not notify them of the issue until 10pm when I found the roach. How unfair is that. I will be speaking to the corporate office. Attached are pictures. Beware of this hotel. It is in a dark creepy location and it is not sanitary.
