Tuve una estancia maravillosa en Ciudad de México en el Gran Hotel.

Muy buena elección.
The hotel is beautiful and I love that they have preserved the building with the original architecture and design. The location is excellent because you are steps away from the Zócalo and in our case, we had an event there in the city center, so staying there was perfect because there was a demonstration and they closed the streets to enter the city center, but since we were in this hotel, we could walk 6-9 minutes without any problem to the event venue. The rooms are huge! The reception staff was very friendly and attentive.

- • One of the rooms we booked had a very unpleasant smell. It smelled dirty and old. It had carpet and looked very neglected and old, surely that's where the very unpleasant smell was coming from. It would be very good if they took care of those remodeling or maintenance details to provide better attention and impression to the guests. The towels are very worn and give a very bad appearance. The breakfast restaurant also looks very neglected, it needs a good renovation.

Edificio histórico con hermosos techos de vidrio de colores, bonitas vistas desde el restaurante del cuarto piso, buena ubicación para caminar hasta el área del Centro. El personal generalmente servicial. La habitación estaba limpia y las camas cómodas.

- • La ubicación no es accesible para taxis o Ubers, así que necesitas que te dejen a una cuadra de distancia. Pedí una llamada de despertador y la proporcionaron 25 minutos tarde, así que casi perdimos nuestra excursión en globo aerostático. Los pisos no son parejos, así que debes tener cuidado al caminar.
El servicio es excelente. El hotel es majestuoso. La ubicación es de primera.
