- • The fact that they block a guarantee in advance on the card, of 50 euros per night. I do not understand the purpose of this procedure as long as the minibar in the room is empty. And the unblocking/return of the money is done after 45 days. From my point of view, this practice is abusive and illegal.
Great location. The breakfast offering was amazing, a large variety of food. The premises were very clean and modern.

Excellent
Convenient location, within 5 minutes you can reach the cathedral, the train station, the Rhine promenade. Excellent breakfast, tasty food. The menu may not be very extensive, but the products are of very high quality. Helpful staff.

- • One of the four elevators was not working. The call button of another elevator needed to be pressed several times strongly to work. The air conditioning system control is a bit outdated, the choice of warmer/colder is not very appealing these days. The water pressure in the shower could be higher.

Excellent service and facilities in a convenient location and easily accessed by car
The hotel is close to the Cathedral, City Centre, and pedestrian area but is easily accessed by car and the hotel has its secure underground car park (although maneuvering is tight between the pillars). Arriving in August, the air conditioning was essential for our trip and very welcome. The staff were very efficient and friendly, and the breakfast selection and service were excellent. Although only an overnight stay on our drive to Southern Germany, we would have happily stayed longer and used it as a base to explore Cologne
