Location, moat major attractions are within walking distances.

Excellent value for money and the waterfall show every evening gives it some unique character.

Excellent room was clean and the location is in really pretty area especially in the evening.

Z pohledu turisty má tento hotel tu nejlepší možnou polohu ve městě. Hned u Shanhu Lake, na kterém je Sun Pagoda a Moon Pagoda. U hotelu začíná peší zóna (Zhengyang Pedestrian Street) se spoustou obchůdků a restaurací. Domluva na recepci hotelu v angličtině je bez problémů. Pokoje jsou velmi čisté. Snídaně je hodně v čínském stylu, ale i jako Evropani jsme se dokázali nasytit. Pokud ještě pojedu do Guilinu, tak určitě opět do tohoto hotelu. Doporučuji vybrat si pokoj s výhledem ven z hotelu, ne do atria.

Good rooms and location but poor breakfast

Positives - a great location. Next to the main tourist/shopping area. Acceptable size of bedroom and bathroom. Everything clean. Negatives - few western dishes for breakfast, no spoons, utensils seemed to run out and the items seemed to laid out in a haphazard manner, pity it tainted out stay However, their waterfall name is definitely worth experiencing because you cannot understand why it was so designed ?

We had a suite on the 10th floor, which was huge with 2 bathrooms, a great shower and tub, and excellent views of the pagodas. Location is terrific! We really appreciated the wonderful fruit plates not just day one but each day of our stay and the special little box of treats delivered each night. Very nice touch.

Un hotel de 5 estrellas a precio de 3, vale mucho la pena, tiene todas las comodidades y está bien ubicado. La mesa de excursiones nos ayudó a disfrutar del único día que teníamos haciendonos un viaje a medida (si hubieramos hablado con ellos el día de llegada, seguramente nos habría salido más barato, pero fue un precio razonable). La cascada se activa todos los días a las 20h, y la piscina está muy bien, sobre todo en verano.

The hotel is located in a very peaceful and harmonious place, perfect to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. The room is very pleasant and spacious, beautifully decorated. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Perfecte centrum-locatie! Ruime kamers met zicht op de indrukwekkende torens. Vriendelijk personeel!

Sehr großes, zentral gelegenes Hotel, nahe am Flussufer, würden wieder hier buchen.

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Nur ca. 50m und man ist am Fluss bei den Bootsabfahrten oder an der Uferpromenade. Von unserem Zimmer in der 9. Etage hatten wir eine tolle Aussicht auf die Pagode und den "Elefanten-Rüssel-Berg". Vom Dachgarten in der 15. Etage hat man eine prima Rundum-Aussicht. Das Frühstücksangebot ist vielseitig und reichlich. Auch für europäischen Geschmack ist genug Auswahl vorhanden.

Hotel in eccellente posizione per Guilin

Eccellente posizione sia per la vista delle pagode gemelle (che noi vedevamo anche dalla stanza) che per la vicinanza al night market con shop, souvenir e street food. Colazione varia e abbondante, sia dolce che salata, sia cinese che internazionale. Servizio spa molto bello e con massaggi a prezzi bassi rispetto agli standard occidentali. Usufruito del servizio interno dell'hotel per organizzare delle escursioni e la crociera sul fiume Li.

L'ufficio turistico dell'hotel è molto utile per organizzare tour personalizzati nei dintorni di Guilin

Posizione fantastica, colazione perfetta anche il caffè espresso. Hotel di lusso con molti servizi all'interno. Vista fantastica. La piscina è grande con un ottima vista un po' da ristrutturare ma piacevole dopo una giornata in giro. Lo consigliamo!

Good stay and great Li River cruise We stayed just one night but had a good experience overall. We booked a lake view room and asked for a high floor. The hotel respected our request, which we really appreciated. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is very convenient, close to key spots. The breakfast was okay, not amazing, but enough to start the day. We also booked the Li River cruise through the hotel ; great decision! Even though we booked a bit late during peak season, they managed to get us seats on a 4-star boat, upper deck, and front row. The meal on board was good, and the views were beautiful. We asked to be seated with locals instead of tourists, and it turned out to be a much nicer and more authentic experience.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel…horrible place..moldy and not cleaned at all. Rooms are smelly and moldy..also I can smell cigarettes all over the places. Breakfast no omelettes…only sunny eggs and lot of Chinese food..no view …I was promised lake view…

Très bon établissement avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac avec les deux pagodes. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. Bien insonorisée. Petit déjeuner buffet. Nous sommes passés par le tour operator de l'hôtel pour la croisière sur la rivière Li, c'était très professionnel et bien. Chauffeur anglophone. Nous recommandons lijiang waterfall hotel.

Guilin was the prettiest city in China.

A flight got canceled and we had to book another night. The hotel was accomodating and made it easy. Guiin was beautiful. Walking around the lakes was lovely. Underground shopping was fun.

Stayed here on two separate nights as part of a Wendy wu tour on both nights the rooms were clean spacious, massive beds and no smell of smoke but no safe in room. Some people said they felt the rooms were damp due to the humidity but I didn't get that feeling. Only had breakfast here but both mornings there was an amazing choice of western options although the queues for the coffee machines were awful. Only negative is that it is a bit old and dated but other than that it was a good hotel for an overnight stay. There is a waterfall effect at certain times of the evening but unfortunately we didn't see it. Hotel in good location to walk to park where the 2 pagoda are and also a good shopping street with lots of streetfood to sample if you wish

Tired and overrated

After reading several other reviews, I have to agree that this aging facility has a number of problems. Most importantly, Americans and Aussies will find the lack of English speaking people at the front end unnerving. Once you’ve been to Vegas, you’ll find the‘waterfall’ disappointing. The rooftop bar stands in sharp contrast to the tired interiors but the lack of accessibility is disappointing.

每天晚上都有小禮物以及天氣預報小條子 ，非常的貼心。我們入住的時候是端午節，除了小點心之外還有兩個香包。

櫃檯親切，房間空間蠻大，有負離子吹風機，羽絨枕被子床非常舒服，浴室的毛巾是柔軟加厚版。

excellent choice if no wifi required

great location, the walk around the lake/river (sun&moon twin) and other attractions are easily accessible; rather spacious rooms, some even offer great view on sun&moon twin; spacious reception halls; very clean; friendly staff; reasonably priced, credit cards accepted; hotel bar offers a good choice of beers and a few dishes, I tried several times the local beer (very good) and the fresh fruit plate (generous selection of 4-5 seasonal fruits).

Großes Hotel mit dem Wasserfall-Highlight am Abend. Tolle Lage, große und geräumige Zimmer, alles sauber und bequem. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit riesen Auswahl. Super freundliches Concierge-Service - die Damen und Herren haben uns beim Check-in für den Weiterflug extrem geholfen.

Fabulous hotel in perfect location.

This is a fabulous hotel. Room was large with a full wall of window. Great amenities. The pool and spa area offer a steam bath and sauna. The gym was a bit dated but still functional. I don't eat much of a breakfast so I didn't feel the cost was worth it. Bar area was nice and the large atrium is impressive. The concierge managed a Li river trip with return that was perfect and priced below any other 4 star cruise with a private driver who spoke English.

Un lindo hotel con una enorme cascada

El hotel es lindo, esta muy bien ubicado y aparte tienen un "show" que basicamente prenden una enorme cascada sobre una de las fachadas del edificio por unos minutos al atardecer, es muy lindo verlo. La distribución del hotel es particularmente extraña, con un patio central interno donde dan todas las habitaciones, muy extraño para occidente, jamas habiamos visto algo asi y nos gusto mucho

Expensive central very comfortable stay in very very beautiful Guilin

it was very central but way too big about 8/9 bus loads of tourists arriving every second day. They had a western restaurant which I never went to , I went to the Chinese restaurant and they tried to redirect me.

Mass tourism gone wrong

We stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to China. On arrival, we couldn't even get into the car park for all the tourist buses. We had no help with our bags at check-in and had to find the room ourselves. The only good this about this hotel is the close proximity to the sun and moon pagodas. Our room had a view of these however, the room window didn't shut, and the room decor was dated. The facilities were minimal. The breakfast was a circus. We couldn't get a table as it was so busy at 06:45 AM! The Western food choices were not good. We couldn't even get anything to drink. The juice looked diluted with water and the coffee machine was impossible to get to. The staff looked like they had given up to the mass tourism that has taken over the hotel. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience we had during our month-long stay in China. This hotel is apparently rated 4 star. It does not go anywhere near this rating. As we had to return through Guilin after our trip to Yangshuo, we cancelled our return stay here and went to stay at the Sheraton, which was just round the corner.

El hotel es fantástico, grande, bien cuidado. Las habitaciones espaciosas y cama muy cómoda. El Personal muy amable y servicial y la ubicación es perfecta a 30 metros de las dos pagodas y justo al lado del night market. Ideal para pasar unos días en Guilin

Really enormous and quite elegant place, with a multitude of services and venues, so many that it is not easy to identify them all in an overnight stay. I appreciated the craft shop (so nice attendant!) and the gigantic spa and massage center, open h24 (kind and professional staff). The position is just in front of the port to get a boat to the nice night cruise with show. The meals were nice and the rooms very spacious.

This hotel was very nice. Our room was very spacious well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant facilities offered lots of variety for breakfast. Great location opposite picturesque Ronghu Lake. Great for a morning stroll or run.

Simply a wonderful place that you must visit

Though the room were worn out but the view and location was over whelming; Location was superb and people are friendly; The room window alone was enough to immediate your day off; Retailed market next to the hotel made it more appealing.

a szálloda elhelyezkedése rendkívül jó ,mellette van a piac,szemben a tó a pagodákkal,Elefant Hill. Éttermek ,hidak .A reggeli minősége jó,de 20 Euró egy kicsit sok,annak fényében,hogy 30 Eurót fizettünk 7 főre este teljes vacsora,itallal.
