- • If you notice how the staff is addressed and also how the staff argue among themselves, it is not pleasant. The food was also almost always the same, we have had better there

Everything was magnificent: the welcome, the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff, always attentive and smiling. The quality of the dishes as well as the variety of the food are remarkable. The cleanliness of the establishment is impeccable, the rooms are superb and very comfortable. The beach, located 3 minutes walk away, is ideal for snorkeling: clear water, fine sand, and rich marine life. A real pleasure! The evening entertainment is exceptional, elegant, and very tasteful. The gardens all around the hotel are superb, I'll let you discover them. Fresh mint and basil in pots on each table... The overall setting is relaxing, perfect for unwinding and fully enjoying your stay. I highly recommend this 5-star hotel. The decoration is exceptional. Very nice clean hotel in well-kept greenery with extremely friendly staff.
It is a very clean and beautiful hotel, designed in an Arabic style. The hotel guests seem to be predominantly from Germany, so the hotel staff mostly speak good German. The entire staff is very courteous and friendly. The hotel is located in a very beautiful and green part of the Makadi Bay near a golf course, along with some neighboring hotels of the Jaz group. At the hotel entrance, there are several restaurants and shops (Souk-Makadi). One evening there was a very nice street festival there. As a guest of the Jaz Hotels, you can also book restaurants in Souk-Makadi besides the hotel restaurants. The hotel itself, in addition to the main buffet-style restaurant, also has a pool restaurant, an Arabic restaurant, and a beach restaurant. The last two mentioned restaurants offer an à la carte menu. The food is generally very rich, varied, and of mostly good quality. There are many fresh salad variations. The hotel has a beautifully maintained garden and is located right on the beach. The Jaz Hotels, which are not directly on the beach, have their own separate and marked beach sections, so only a part of the beach is available for the Iberotel Makadi Beach Hotel. The beach consists of a well-kept sandy beach with several access points to the sea (including a jetty). The sea has some beautiful offshore reefs that are great for snorkeling. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a nice balcony. The rooms are very clean and decorated in a beautiful Arabic style. The hotel offers a central courtyard with two pools, the larger one being unheated and the smaller one heated. The nearby water park is easy to visit by shuttle bus (every 30 minutes) and offers about 20 slides.

- • Overall, there is really very little to complain about. In the main restaurant, I would have liked a slightly better quality in the desserts - but we have also had this experience in other Egyptian hotels. There is an electric grill outside, but we missed grilled dishes from the charcoal grill at the dinner buffet. Here, I would have liked more variations of grilled dishes. Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to book the other restaurants in Souk Makadi, as it seemed to be very busy at Easter. The internet and the booking app were very slow here, but this seemed to be a general problem in the region. The Jaz Hotels in the "second row" have their own beach kiosks and restaurants, which, however, cannot be used as a guest of the Iberotel - I generally find this unfortunate, as a general concept could have been created on the beach. We had somewhat cool weather at Easter due to the constant wind, so the unheated pool was relatively unused. Unfortunately, the heated pool is a bit small. Here, the management could consider heating the larger pool as well during such busy travel times, so that children can swim in it. In the mentioned water park, about half of the slides are heated, but at our time, it was a bit windy and cool to use the unheated slides. It could be considered to really heat all the slides and also offer a heated small pool where you can warm up a bit. These are all minor details and constructive criticism that would further perfect a stay. I could well imagine visiting the hotel again at a slightly warmer time of year.
