Stinky room, okay for one night
The hotel is nice, with spacious rooms, a bar where you can dine until late, and the breakfast is great (although not included and a bit expensive). The location is central, although the Hassan II Mosque and the train station, the only two interesting or useful things in the city for a tourist, are not very close on foot, and you will easily prefer to take a taxi.

- • We stayed at Kaan twice in a few days, upon arrival and before departure. This review is the average of the two experiences. The first time everything went very well, and I would have given a high rating, but unfortunately the second time there was a really unpleasant smell in our room (maybe it was the headboard of the bed) and the floor did not seem very clean, it was sticky. Also, we were told that the transfer would also accept card payment, but upon arrival at the airport, we had to pay in cash, fortunately euros were also accepted, but it was still a service issue that I want to report.
Everything went smoothly, we had a suite with a kitchen and 2 TVs. Every piece of equipment is working, the apartment is clean as well!

We stayed in an apartment which was perfect for our family. The space was even better than expected and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop terrace was lovely and we also went to the cafe in the morning. Everything was easy and clean.

First hotel: recommended!!
The reception was friendly. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a larger room, but we are convinced that the comments also apply to the room we originally booked. Great room, good bed, and excellent bathroom. Extensive and well-prepared breakfast. In short: recommended!!

- • We and my parents booked 2 rooms separately. The front desk told us that both rooms were not prepaid and reluctant to double-check until we insisted that one room had been prepaid. It turned out that he was wrong. We paid for the second room and both rooms’ city tax. Upon checkout, the same staff asked us to pay for city tax again and said that was not paid. Again we need to insist and ask him to double-check. Also, my parents were provided a very small corner room even the room next to us was empty. We raised the problem and changed room. Very unprofessional.
Excellent hotel with awesome vibe
Everything was fabulous. The staff were great; the rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent! Our room was spacious and lovely.

We had a genuinely enjoyable stay at the Kaan Casablanca. The location was ideal — easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was warm and accommodating throughout. After traveling all night, being allowed an early check-in was a welcome relief. They also went out of their way to help us secure a restaurant reservation, which wasn't straightforward given that the restaurant's only booking method was through social media — a small but appreciated effort. The restaurant itself was lovely. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch there and would happily return.

- • A few areas worth noting for the hotel: No air conditioning in the rooms. March may seem mild, but the rooms were stuffy, and getting a good night's sleep without any way to cool down was a challenge. Even a basic cooling option would make a real difference. A broken peephole. A minor but notable security concern — I ended up stuffing tissue into it as a workaround. Small fix, worth addressing. No filtered ice available. For international travelers not accustomed to local water, having access to ice made from filtered water — even at the bar for purchase — would be a simple and thoughtful addition. Bathroom privacy. The bathroom layout allows visibility into the toilet area at night when the light is on. A minor design adjustment would go a long way for guest comfort and privacy. Overall, the Kaan Casablanca has a lot going for it — great location, kind staff, and a solid dining experience. With a few practical improvements, it could easily be a standout stay.

- • The receptionist was not so friendly at the check-in, I guess he couldn't find my reservation. I also asked for information about the transfer to the airport and if I could confirm the following day, and he said no, if I wanted I had to confirm right then. Nonetheless, the following morning I talked to another lady at the reception and asked if I could still have a transfer later to the airport, and she told me there was no problem at all, just to tell her the time I would like the transfer. We had the apartment for 3 people but there were only two towels, and no sheets for the sofa bed. I called around 22:30, and they only came to make the bed an hour later, after I had called again. We were on the 7th floor, so you could hear the music from the rooftop very clearly, so if you want a good night's sleep, ask for a lower floor.
