City tour very good
Central location in the old town. Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit, egg dishes made to order. Very friendly staff. Great courtyard.

- • Ventilation only possible in the courtyard, loud ceiling fan, faulty bathroom fittings. Noisy, sounded like the subway was passing under the room. Mattresses were good but 20 cm too short for the bed, luckily there were enough pillows to fill the gap.
The hotel is very well located to visit the historic center. It has a lot of charm.

- • There is no elevator, but the hotel staff will bring and pick up the luggage to the room. However, climbing stairs at 2800m altitude can be tiring.
It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay and we highly recommend the hotel.
The employees were all genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive to the needs of guests. I loved the ambience of the hotel with the courtyards and multiple places to sit and relax.

- • I didn't care for the design of the shower stall. The glass only covered half of the area, so it was hard to keep warm when showering. I think a good thing to have inside the showers is to have some type of rubber mat. The tiles were very slippery and we ended up putting a hand towel on the floor to stand on rather than take the risk of slipping.
Would recommend
Old hotel with lots of history. Nice and pretty undercover courtyards inside. Staff helpful and pleasant. Great location and the area felt safe for a solo traveler. Breakfast good.

- • I stayed twice in different rooms. The first room was large and on two levels with two beds, the staircase was wooden and quite slippery, the room was quite tired and needed a bit of TLC. The second room was much better. The bar and courtyards are quite cold in the evening, so a fleece or jumper is needed.
Beautiful and welcoming structure in a very central location to visit the historic center of Quito.

- • The noise of groups coming from the breakfast patio already before 7:00 in the morning.
Wonderful staff and location, beautiful rooms.
