Conacul Coroanei Luxury Boutique Hotel

Fragrant room, exuberant decoration, but, being a house converted into a hotel, our room was outside the main building, so if it's raining you'll need to go out with an umbrella to have your breakfast, for example. However, this doesn't take away from the beauty of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

Quiet and good location

I absolutely loved this hotel. 3 couples stayed here recently and the hotel was a standout for me, out of all the ones on the tour we did of Romania. The concierge, Mayer, was lovely, so helpful and professional. The hotel is appointed beautifully and is very comfortable. The welcome champagne was lovely too. If I return to Bucharest I will stay here again. It's close to a couple of good bars that serve food too. Big thanks to Mayer for making the stay so memorable.

I was looking for a hotel with character, and I certainly got it! The property is lavishly decorated in a very high style art nouveau way. The bed was comfortable. The manager and staff were approachable and responsive. I believe this is a family run business and it’s nice to not have a clinical feel that happens often with hotels managed as a part of a chain. It is walkable to the centre in 20-30 minutes and is located in a nice part of of the city. I hope to visit again!

Cockroaches were all over the place. We took video and pictures. We complained to a worker and asked him to have management call us. No call! Horrible experience!

Outstanding experience

We loved the architecture and the cozy rooms with all necessary comforts: beautiful furniture, nice upholstery, architectural details of the rooms and bathrooms, the nice private garden, the friendly owners and attentive staff!

The hotel has beautiful architecture and interior design. The rooms are spacious, bright and the furniture stylish and very comfortable. Comfortable beds with high quality bed linens. Also good quality toiletries. The owners and the entire staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive to their clients’ needs. We loved everybody we interacted with. The location could not be better, in a quiet, tree-lined street in the old “bourgeois” part of the city, 30 minutes walking distance from the University Plaza, the old town, Caru cu bere, and a multitude of restaurants, bars and cafes! We will be back every year!

Wonderful staff and unique rooms. I particularly noted the handmade curtains, a very special touch.
