- • At breakfast, at 9:00 in the morning all the platters were empty. Bread, omelette, bacon, vegetables, cheeses, everything was missing. The girl who was supposed to take care of the refill was chatting continuously with some friends who came from outside. Although we requested several times to bring us something to eat, the response was: 'I'm alone, I can't handle it. And there's no one in the kitchen to cook.' We mentioned this aspect at the reception, and the young lady apologized. Apologies did not help us for the fact that we paid for a service, namely for the breakfast we did not have.

The bus connection to Amsterdam city center. Spar directly nearby. Hotel very modern. Beautiful large beds.

Not a four star- will not be returning

- • I can't believe this is a four star hotel, my room number 101 reeked like stale cigarette smoke. I immediately returned to the check-in area and asked for a different room. I was told someone could come and spray some chemicals in the room. Obviously that's going to make the air even more difficult to breathe. I had to launder all of my clothing as soon as I got home. The water in the shower was only medium warm, there was no lotion, no creamer in my room (turns out they did have powdered creamer just forgot to stock my room), the floors were not completely clean etc
