True luxury service
This was our first stay when we arrived at Thailand and it was hard for any other to compare. The service was impeccable. The front desk staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, including booking our next stay (as the inn we wanted to stay at in Chiang Dao didn’t speak English or do online bookings). When we brought left overs back one day, they heated them up and plated it for us even though it wasn’t their food. From the bi-weekly mosquito steaming to the daily turn down service, various bath salts to use this was true luxury. Truly one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at.

A key piece of a honeymoon to remember
This hotel is absolutely stunning, and the service can't be beat. We felt so well taken care of and enjoyed absolutely everything. The spa was incredible! We loved the breakfast buffet. The team is all so friendly, helpful and professional. Can't say enough great things about the Anantara!

So pleased we found this place
So lucky to have had the opportunity to visit this beautiful hotel. It’s a pool of calm in the centre of Chiang Mai. Rooms and public spaces are perfect for vacation but best of all are the staff who are just top notch and really made us feel welcome and that nothing is a problem. Trip holiday
The service was excellent. The bellboy was very helpful, and all the front desk staff were friendly and always smiling. I would like to especially compliment Chao, a front desk staff member. He provided great service, took very good care of us, and helped us with everything throughout our stay. We will definitely come back and stay here again.

Superb service, very good hotel but some niggles…
To start with, all the staff are exceptional and the food is excellent. The public areas are mostly stunning (there is one area of lawn currently being repaired with artificial grass). However, there were some small issues, which need addressing. We had booked four nights at this hotel, to be followed with three nights in Anantara golden triangle. Booked direct with the hotel. For the months prior to this trip this hotel kept emailing offering “enhancements” to the stay etc but with incorrect dates. I kept emailing, Anantara would apologise and correct the dates. But This kept happening - with incorrect dates and strange emails from the Anantara with a new confirmation of booking, even though the dates were the same.. On checking in, I was “offered” an upgrade for an extra price. This I declined…. And I have to admit I found it frustrating. If you want to upgrade me, upgrade me - don’t try to sell an upgrade on check in. Added to this, on checking in, our room was not ready (which was fine as we arrived before 3pm, but we felt rather forgotten about - and indeed had been forgotten about. Our stay has been very good, but the last two mornings at breakfast staff have found me to tell me “I need new keys as there was a problem on my booking”. I then get new emails welcoming me to the hotel. It got rather tedious. Our dates of our stay, never changed yet still there seemed to be issues with the central management of our stay. In terms of the room, generally very good, but … - plugs only exist behind the bed - so lap top, iron or whatever you want to plug in, this has to be done from behind the bed. And ..one doesn’t work - sink is very small with only space for one small wash bag. - wooden furniture in room is looking rather tired and damaged in places and the bathroom drawer fell out when opened. - hand blinds in bedroom are heavy and difficult to put up (not sure why housekeeping put them down when there are electric blinds too) Despite the above, overall a very good hotel, staff go above and beyond. I just hope the Anantara can sort out the booking system.

Amazing hotel
Our stay at the Anantara has been most enjoyable. The hotel is spacious, modern, comfortable and very welcoming. The staff are exceptionally efficient, charming and polite. We would like to thank Fern in the Bodhi Terrace for her excellent service during our delicious dinner. This is a wonderful hotel in which to stay whilst visiting northern Thailand.

Marvelous Experience
Best hotel & staff in the world Anantara Chiang Mai is an incredible experience It was our Honeymoon and it was fabulous We took a cooking lesson with chef Hom and went to the farmer market with him and it was wonderful Special dedication to the staff Tirk, Kevin, Song, "Papa Mama", Chef Hom and the cooking staff, the cleaning department

Perfect stay at Anantara
Stayed here for 8 days at the start of our Thailand holiday, what a beautiful stay we had! We cannot fault the service, every single member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast by the river was amazing, and happy hour outside at the rooftop bar restful after a day exploring Chiang Mai. Food and service at the Bodhi terrace was perfect. We will definitely stay again next year, thanks to everyone

Best hotel accommodation experience in Chiang Mai
Excellent rooms, beds were comfortable, super clean, water pressure and temperatures were perfect, free bottled water was provided. The restaurant had a view of the river, food selection was impeccable, friendly staff and will treat like royalty.
