It was a very comfortable experience, worth recommending.
The staff was very enthusiastic and polite, not only introducing the surrounding attractions but also assisting with luggage, very thoughtful. Breakfast was delivered to the homestay and was very delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, just like the photos on the website, with unbeatable views. The room rate was justified, worth staying!

Quiet apartment with a great view in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle.
The entire place Jiufen is situated on a steep slope and is largely accessible only through alleys and stairs. There is no car traffic in this maze of alleys. The apartment is located at the end of the tourist alley "Old Street", where this alley becomes quieter again, and the apartment is pleasantly quiet. Our room was a 4-person apartment with a great view of the bay with the surrounding mountains. The bed is somewhat elevated, so you can even look out to the sea from the bed - great! Due to the tourist crowds, there is a parking shortage in Jiufen. The landlords provide an affordable parking option and bring the luggage up to the accommodation by motor scooter. The breakfast package is delivered in the morning by motor scooter at the agreed time. There are plenty of shopping and dining options in Jiufen, a 7/eleven supermarket is located at the other end of the "Old Street". The landlords were always reachable via WhatsApp, spoke English, and everything went as agreed.

- • The tourist hustle and bustle in the two largely covered main alleys of Jiufen is considerable; you just have to embrace it. When you leave these two alleys, it suddenly becomes quiet. It is worth exploring the place off the beaten path.
The location and the view are excellent, the room is spacious and tastefully decorated. The female owner is proficient in Japanese, which is appreciated by Japanese guests.

- • If I had to say, it would be that there is no water facility in the living space downstairs, so you need to go up and down the stairs to wash cups, etc.
Lovely stay in the village. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate.
