Excellent staff, comfy place
The staff were very nice and helpful. Many thanks to Silvio and his colleagues for providing us with all the info we needed to make the most of our time in Catania and the region. The attitude was very kind, polite and we were greeted with a smile at the reception and in the dining area. The breakfast had sufficient items to choose from. The hotel and the room were nicely decorated, clean and functional. The hotel is within walking distance from the historical center.

L'ambiente curato, elegante eppure familiare che si respira nell'Hotel, mi ha fatto subito sentire comodo e amio agio. Il personale si è sempre mostrato disponibilissimo e gentilissimo; La prima colazione è completa e sufficente. La posizione è ottima, a due passi dalla Via Etnea.

- • Non c'è nulla che non ci sia piaciuto; forse, vi sono altre strutture con colazioni sicuramente più ricche, ma non che questa fosse insufficente, tutt'altro.

- • Ho segnalato per tempo la necessità di una colazione senza lattosio e, purtroppo, non era disponibile nulla di dolce. Ho quindi optato per una colazione salata, ma da un albergo a 4 stelle mi sarei aspettato un’attenzione maggiore a questo dettaglio. Inoltre, quel giorno si è verificato un guasto alla caldaia, fortunatamente risolto nel giro di poche ore.

Good location for touring Catania on foot and a nice boutique hotel with a very friendly staff

Hotel i personál vstřícný a ochotný. Snídaně bohatá a pestrá. Interiér hotelu i pokoje zajímavý - nábytek, dekorace jak z minulého století, vysoké stropy a malba, má svoje kouzlo. Pro pár určitě doporučení.

- • Hlučnější ruch z ulice s ohledem na to, že v okolí je stavba a nyní v listopadu v pokoji chladno, i když venkovní teplota byla vyšší. Toto však může být výhoda naopak v létě.

- • Bad sehr klein, aber schön Wäre besser man verzichtet auf das Bidet und vergrößert die Dusche (eng!)
Die Konzerte in der Kirche und der Oper waren sehr gut.
Der Service des Personals und des Managers waren sehr gut ! Meine Suite war OK. Wenn man Barock mit Plüsch ohne Ende und Teppichen in den Zimmern mag, dann ist man dort nicht falsch.

- • Die Gegend ist furtchtbar ! Abends nur Taxi (sehr teuer). Die Terrasse / ein richtiger Balkon fehlte bei der Suite. Nur 2 Mini Austritte - es paßte kein Stuhl. Frühstück sehr überschaubar. Extrem enges Badezimmer. Die Straße ist sehr befahren und laut. Das Hotel liegt oben auf dem Hügel - man sollte gut zu Fuß sein. Bis zum Zentrum sind es ca. 20 Minuten.
The service was great, especially the welcome and the talk through of the area and sights from Antonino. It was also helpful to be able to borrow an umbrella from the hotel for the evening

I think the staff is what made my stay incredible. I've never had such incredible customer service. they couldn't do enough for us. They went above and beyond. The breakfast was great, the room was great. I can't recommend this hotel enough

We had two rooms,5 women, and no complaints. Wonderful stay.
Breakfast was wonderful. Wasn’t sure about the location since we arrived at night but in the daylight it was just fine.

- • Honestly, nothing. Valentina was so wonderful to my sister who was sick in her room. She brought her pots of tea on her request. So sweet.
The breakfast was diverse and delicious and loved the silver cutlery. The staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. Was a real treat to have free coffee in the lounge and on my birthday day they indulged me and my friend with a free glass of wine - so lovely of them.

- • Sometimes that Front Desk Managers were so busy, it could take a little extra time for them to follow thru on a request, but, with a little patience, it always was resolved.

C'était déjà un hôtel de rêve, mais en plus nous avons été surclassés...! Une suite magnifique, extrêmement confortable. Personnel très courtois et attentionné. Etant obligés de partir très tôt le matin, nous n'avons pas pu profiter du petit-déjeuner, mais on nous a aimablement proposé un café avant notre départ. L'hôtel s'est occupé de réserver notre taxi pour rejoindre l'aéroport. Nous ne pensons que du bien de cet établissement !

- • Nous avons regretté de ne pas profiter du petit-déjeuner, qui était certainement excellent s'il était en rapport avec le confort de notre chambre. On ne peut tout de même pas demander à l'hôtel de servir des petits-déjeuners à partir de 5h du matin ! :-)

Великолепный бутик отель, старинный интересный интерьер, много мебели в номерах, все удобно, тихо. В нем мало номеров, всего два этажа, нет толпы. Завтраки , если не надолго приехал, нормальные!

- • The style is out of date. There are almost no amenities. The AC smelled when it was on, but it did work well and you controlled it in your room. The area of Catania was a bit dodgy and sketchy. Dark streets and alleys. Lots of graffiti and smelly trash. There is a nicer part of town near the Benedictine Monastery.

Very nice rooms. We had two beds in separate rooms. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. Location was excellent. Parking for the rental was close.

It's a B&B more than a hotel. Terrible breakfast, little variety and bad coffee. Good location, although the street where it is located is very ugly. The shower, excessively small, you can't move your arms to soap yourself and even less try to dry yourself inside. Friendly but insufficient employees, only one at breakfast.

Os funcionários de uma cordialidade impecável! O café da manhã é extraordinário! com muita variedade, qualidade servidos em um ambiente surpreendente e deslumbrante! Enjoyed finishing off each evening with a glass of Dero D'Avola in the lovely bar area. The hotel's location is not the best, but it's not far to walk to the main amenities and central areas. The metro is only a few minutes' walk away so it's easy to get to the bus station for a day trip to Taormina or Syracusa. One word of warning: the directions on Google Maps in is incorrect. It means the taxi will drop you off about 15 mins walk away (too far with suitcases). This is not the fault of Liberty Hotel. Give the taxi driver the address rather than the hotel name. Lokalizacja. Zdjęcie trochę kłamie, hotel do najnowszych nie należy, ale personel życzliwością nadrabia, a housekeeping wykonuje swoją pracę doskonale. Kilka minut spaceru i jest się w centrum Katanii. Spokojnie, życzliwie. Polecam.

Fabulous hotel - nothing was too much trouble.
We arrived on a warm day, having struggled to get a taxi from the train station feeling a bit frazzled. We were greeted by the extremely charming and helpful Manager Silvio. The reception area was cool, elegant and delightfully decorated. It was a fabulous ‘reset’. We received an upgrade to a suite, excellent assistance with points of interest, restaurant and cafe recommendations. This hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but is only a short walk to the centre of town and ‘nothing was too much trouble’. A real gem.

- • We arrived on a warm day, having struggled to get a taxi from the train station feeling a bit frazzled. We were greeted by the extremely charming and helpful Manager Silvio. The reception area was cool, elegant and delightfully decorated. It was a fabulous ‘reset’. We received an upgrade to a suite, excellent assistance with points of interest, restaurant and cafe recommendations. This hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but is only a short walk to the centre of town and ‘nothing was too much trouble’. A real gem.

Very fine hotel in Catania
Fabulous hotel hidden away but near the centre of Catania. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. I wish we could have stayed for longer!
