Super nice boutique hotel in a perfect location - if you are not sensitive to noise
We had a great stay at Liu Men. We particularly loved the location and the hotel is beautiful. We felt very comfortable right away and our room was clean and very stylishly decorated.

- • The breakfast is not appropriate for the price. What also bothered us is the noise in the surroundings. Not the street or the neighborhood, you know that when booking here, that it can be loud. But during our stay, guys were setting off fireworks right outside our room door until 2am. It sounded like a war zone and sleep was out of the question. Of course, the hotel is not to blame in that sense, but intervention might be needed, this cannot go on. Therefore, we would not come back. Too bad.
Stunning hotel in perfect location
The location is perfect, close to everything you need in the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is gorgeous and very well done in terms of design. The bedroom was comfortable and the inner courtyard was such a highlight.

- • Nothing. I know some people mention the noise but it’s inescapable and we didn’t notice it very much.

The location of the hotel was perfect to see all the sights and at the back of Jonker Walk. The initial welcome to the hotel was lovely, with a refreshing drink too. As the hotel was small, the staff knew all guests by name and were accommodating to me being vegetarian. The little treats throughout the day, from the fresh fruit to the before bed snack, were wonderful touches. Even the hand fan gift on departure was unexpected.
