- • - The daily room cleaning was only good if a tip was left - 7 pieces of clothing were stolen from our suitcase, which had an extremely negative impact on our stay. After the intervention at the reception, there were no active responses; when inquired again, the answer was that the case was still under investigation... at check out, feedback was promised within 48 hours, unfortunately, nothing came... It is one thing that something was stolen, but someone rummaging through the guests' private belongings is the bigger problem. We would have appreciated more support from the on-site staff. - When booking the hotel, the hotel was still called AKA-Hotel, upon arrival, it was the Brickell Arch-Hotel. We did not receive any information about this before arrival. Information would have been helpful here too.
Building and staff are not suitable for the building. Rooms and beds are very dusty; I got sick.

A nice stay but...
I organized and ran an event here after visiting the hotel back in February before it became a Marriott hotel. The transition from one brand to another occurred after we had contracted our event and, to say the least, it was not smooth for us. So I will keep this review focused on my experience as a guest during a 4-night stay. Overall, this is a solid Brickell hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms and good facilities. It is also great for elevator enthusiasts, if such a niche exists like aviation or train enthusiasts, as you spend a lot of time in elevators. It is 25 floors up from the ground floor reception to the Lounge where the excellent restaurant is located. Then down to your room in another elevator. If you want to use the pool, it's up, down, and up again in another elevator in a different building, making for an amazing 3 elevator rides. So if you enjoy riding elevators, this is a truly outstanding hotel. All in all, I would happily return when next in Miami.

So many people can't be wrong
Initially, the title of my review was different; however, when I visited the Brickell Arch Hotel website and read a large number of reviews mentioning Leandro, I decided to change it. Clearly, I too can now express my gratitude to him for such a memorable experience during dinner on Friday, May 8th. Leandro is not just a manager; he is the kind of person truly focused on service, pleasing guests, and ensuring complete satisfaction. I echo the words of another reviewer who said, and I quote, 'this industry needs many more Leandros.' Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all of this and so much more.

HARD TO DO BETTER
When I visited the hotel, the concierges Carlos and David were very helpful during breakfast and shopping. Staff and breakfast are the best features of this hotel. During breakfast, everyone was magnificent; even manager Leandro stopped by to chat with warmth and kindness, making a big difference in the experience. His genuine hospitality and commitment to excellence perfectly embody what a true luxury hotel experience should be.

There are much better choices
I like staying in Brickell when I visit Miami, and this is the first time I stayed at this property. I will not stay here again. The elevator system requires guests to take 2 elevators to get to rooms, which is incredibly annoying and time-consuming. That was enough to turn me off, but in addition, the staff did not seem to care about guests. For example, I waited 15 minutes at the restaurant to get a coffee before finally giving up and going to a nearby coffee shop. Lastly, the fitness center is small, with one of the two ellipticals not working. There are better places in Brickell.
