The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. Bathrooms with tubs and no shower, without underfloor heating are unacceptable. Everywhere signs of wear, gloomy corridors, very loud due to a football event. The gastronomy offer in the brasserie is beyond discussion, breakfast is okay.

Not everything perfect at 'Le Méridien', but most things
Excellent central location near Nuremberg Central Station. Remarkable are the information boards showing famous guests who have stayed at 'Le Méridien', such as Konrad Adenauer, Theodor Heuss, the Beatles (1966), Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung. The grand hotel 'Le Méridien' exudes the charm of the 20th century, it is a hotel of a special kind and leaves an unforgettable impression. The breakfast is phenomenally good and diverse, the breakfast area is very spacious.

- • Historical furnishings are combined with modern amenities. The equipment is of very high quality. On the morning of my departure, the service staff (cleaning) was on my floor checking all rooms according to various criteria, which required frequent room changes. The automatic door closing mechanism closes the doors with a quite audible, tendentially unpleasant clicking noise. This noise was also intensively heard during the room cleaning in my corridor the afternoon before. This is my personal perception, other guests may evaluate it differently. However, the relaxed stay in my room was significantly disturbed by this. In the large hall of the entrance area, in my opinion, there is a lack of seating furniture, only very few are available.
It is a perfect hotel in Nuremberg, do not look any further.
