I recommend this hotel.
Compared to other locations in the old town, this location is far superior. The main advantage is the elevator; most places do not have one, and you have to drag your luggage up narrow stairs to the floor. Cleaning is done daily. And for the modest price paid, we also had a generous "Swedish buffet" breakfast.

- • Very bad experience at the Red White Hotel in Istanbul. I had booked several double rooms for a group of friends, but upon our arrival, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and they could not honor the reservation. This caused significant inconvenience to the whole group, forcing us to find last-minute alternative solutions. The structure is in very poor condition: the hotel looks run-down and poorly maintained. The room was dirty, with curtains hanging loose and visibly neglected. The sink was leaking water and only hot water came out, making even simple use impossible. Furthermore, the elevator operated with doors that did not close completely during the ascent, an extremely dangerous and unacceptable situation. A decidedly negative experience from every point of view. Not recommended.
Excellent stay: friendly staff, great location, good breakfast, and comfortable rooms.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options — a perfect start to the day.
