Top hotel in Patong with 10/10 amazing staff! Good AC and food by the pool! Will definitely be coming back to stay here in the future!

Fantastic family holiday destination

We have had a wonderful holiday staying at Club Bamboo. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms are good, the bath could do with being replaced but the hotel is currently having a lot of work done so you can see it’s a work in progress. The food is fantastic and I would definitely recommend a visit. For us, it was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Patong and could go in and out as we pleased.

Shocking hotel and reviews are all lies

The most shocking experience staying at this hotel. Do not go to this hotel, the health and safety is shocking. We now know why they have 5-star reviews on most sites; they make you write a Google review that it is nice there before they give you your key to your room. I was hounded to do this. Then entering the room, there were mouldy beds, mouldy bedding, bed bugs, blood-stained sheets and mite infestations, yellow running water, also no hot water, urine-stained mattress, so dirty never once did we see the floors being washed or shower covered in rust everything was so unclean and old mouldy chairs dangerous footpaths on pool tiles are all chipped and one child had an accident you had to wear flip-flops or sea shoes so wouldn’t cut your foot also the hard gravel around the pool we saw quite a few children grazing themselves and not to mention the dead bird in the pool sun loungers falling apart. After complaining they said they offered another room as we complained to our tour operator which they did not our original room we booked as they said they upgraded us for free the room. My daughter booked this hotel and never got given a room the room she was offers was also shocking mouldy no electricity no running water smelt of sewage and while we said no way she was walking around spraying the room with air fresheners nearly the whole hotel has empty rooms we counted 12 that were unoccupied obviously in disrepair and bad condition as some of the other guests refused them so not many people where actually here and all complained about cleanliness dirty rooms etc. Please please think carefully about booking here every person that stayed here complained most of the reviews are lies. I would never complain about a place if it was just a few things but it truly is shocking the standards and I have stayed in many 3 stars across Thailand but this is shocking I would not even give this a 1 star. Also if you do struggle with stairs there are so so many so please be aware and the hotel roads are quite dangerous to walk as there is no pavement so please be careful.

Best budget Patong stay by a mile

Having been to Phuket 3 times now we fancied doing it on a budget after previously staying at the Centara Grand Hotel in Karon and the Amari Hotel last year. I was a little worried leading up to the stay after reading the reviews but feel that I have to write a review when every single one of my concerns was put to rest. To be honest, yes the bathrooms are a little dated, and yes it's a little walk to the town (approx 20 minutes). However, for the price and quite simply the best staff I've ever come across this hotel is our pick for our visit next year. The beds are firm but comfortable, the rooms are a great size, clean with great amenities, and although the bathtubs could do with a refresh we had zero complaints. The hotel is currently being refurbished and I was a little worried about the noise due to being on the higher floors. We were immediately offered 4 different rooms (with 2 of them being much more expensive rooms). The gym is part of the work being undertaken and the staff even went out of their way and brought weights to my room so I could work out. The pool area is fantastic and very functional (for those who are regulars in Thailand you'll be aware how not having any cover is an issue). The waterfall cools it to perfection and the bar and food are cheap, very good quality and served quicker than any of the hotels we stayed out last year. We only stayed here originally due to an extremely good deal however this will always be our hotel of choice when we visit Thailand. I feel that the staff are what turn a comfortable, functional hotel into something that exceeds my expectations. I'm already planning to rebook this hotel for next year and look forward to going back.

Brilliant hotel

Brilliant hotel got a free upgrade due to a leakage in our first room. Staff are very friendly and assisted us with all of our questions. We got upgraded to a bungalow for free, brilliant service and staff. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, any problems they will assist you to make them better and help to solve all problems.

The hotel is very standard 3-star, stayed in 402 had a sea view, the staff are nice and helpful.

Basic 3-star accommodation, bathrooms let it down very dated needs modernizing, swimming pool also quite dated. However, the staff make up for this. Room cleaned daily, staff very polite and helpful. 20 mins to the beach but very busy roads down, quite a lot of steeps too.

The wonderful Jang

Jang was the absolute highlight of our stay, she was always there for whatever we needed. If I was honest of why I’d come back it would be due to this lovely lady!! The hotel was lovely too, especially when he bungalows, fantastic place!! Food is gorgeous too.

Good stay on a budget

Just returned from a 12-night stay as a family of 5. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. When I explained that my daughter was 17 and sharing with her 2 brothers they upgraded their room free of charge so she had her own private area, which was ideal for them. The room itself is quite dated and could do with some touching up. The bed was too hard for me but the staff were quick to add a topper and extra soft pillow to the mattress for extra comfort. The room is quite basic but was fine for our stay. Fresh bedding and towels upon request via a door hanger and you can leave this on anytime of the day and it will be cleaned when you return. Good location for Patong and shopping a short walk and you are in the town. Nice little bar and pool area, food very nice and a good choice. Overall a nice stay at a value for money hotel.

Excellent experience

Excellent service, the staff couldn't have been more helpful everything we asked they helped and organized, even an iron and a plug adapter. The rooms and bathrooms could do with a makeover looking old we weren't in the hotel long enough for it to affect us. Highly recommended, very central to all amenities
