Great Resort, amazing staff!!
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very nice (need bathmats in the showers, floor is marble and very slippery). The pools are very beautiful, 2 together with one side quieter and the other a little livelier. The beach was beautiful, only one day of sargassum. We had a few bumps on our vacation, but I must commend several persons for making things right! First reported to Mar of the entertainment team who took all the details and taken to a management team meeting. We then met with Ana and Benito who were wonderful and set up reservations, sent wine to the room, special drinks in the fridge, turn down service. Benito set up another special dinner in the Italian restaurant, and a special treat for our last breakfast, truly appreciated the special touches. Yesemia Ramirez was absolutely wonderful with us, setting up a special anniversary dinner, checking on us to make sure everything was right - a truly warm and sincere lady! Thanks to all from the entertainment team Mar, Hulyo, Dayanna and so many others we didn't get name. Pool bar Alexander, Ernesto who is so friendly and happy, Ariel who is always smiling. Sports Bar Noe, Paublo and Hulyo who were so good at making drinks and chatting! Breakfast/Lunch: Guadeloupe, Ricardo and Alida, Javier (our favourite) and special thanks to Esperanza for always checking on us as well and Laura and Joletta for always checking up on us. So many other that were kind and helpful that we didn't get names - Every employee in the resort is excellent!! With that all said, the only small downfall for the resort is the food, as the consistency was not always there. The desserts were excellent. In chatting with other guests, most felt the same way. Return guests felt the quality had gone down. We always had a good meal, just not great. Would we return, for the right price yes!

- • We felt the food could have been better, it was good not great. Consistency was not there. The new managers Yesemia and Benito are working hard to make things better and I am sure they will do it!! It did not concern us, but we met people who were older and with disabilities and there is a lot of stairs, people should know this before coming or these guests we spoke to feel the elevators and the distance to their rooms was very far.

- • The state of the rooms: they were humid. The chairs in the outdoor area of the Dining Room restaurant were often covered in dirt caused by birds.
Everything excellent, we had a beautiful vacation and rested a lot. What stood out the most is the attention of the staff.

- • That it is far from the highway and makes it difficult to reach the hotel, 10 minutes walking from there.
