- • The two bedside lamps were not functional. Too bad!

The room was simply run-down, loveless, and unkempt
The room was total crap! No air conditioning, at 20 degrees Celsius outside temperature, it was so heated up that you could only sleep with completely open windows. Unfortunately, the room faced the street, so noisy! The bed was a disgrace, uncomfortable, and the mattresses were sliding apart. Upon entering the room, there was lighting in the entrance area, but NOT ANYMORE in the rest of the room! The bedside lamps were missing light bulbs, the floor lamp had no socket.... Next to the bed, there was a panel with a missing flap, under the bed and behind the panel, it was incredibly dirty! Already disgusting! The minibar was free, but the refrigerator was probably on its last legs, it couldn't be called cooling anymore! The reception staff were uncommunicative, greeting was not their thing! The breakfast was the only thing that was really okay, the rest was a disgrace! I travel constantly for business and stay in hotels several times a month, but this one was one of the absolute worst! Definitely not a recommendation, and it wasn't cheap either.

- • The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. The electrical system alone would not withstand an inspection by the employers' liability insurance association. Overall, it gives a rundown impression. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the amount of work to be done by one person is not manageable.
We needed a quick overnight stay.
The location was ok. It is a very simple and dated hotel, mostly used by working crews. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices.

- • The bathroom sink did not drain. It was yucky having to wait a long time for shaving water etc. to drain. There was no one at the front desk to tell in the morning. We did not see any staff in the breakfast room either while there. We ran into the cleaning crew and wanted to let them know about the sink issue but neither of them could understand us.
