- • The wifi constantly had problems and the managers didn't seem concerned about fixing it. In the restaurant, they pressure the guest to order and vacate.

Wonderful staff, quality room, good location to walk to mosques and bazaar.
What I did not know about Istanbul is that it is very hilly and walking up and down cobblestone streets was leg numbing and my knees didn't handle them well. Our hotel was on a straight street, but where we needed to go was uphill at the end of the street. Hotel staff were excellent and provided everything we asked for including getting the TV to work or ordering a taxi. Unfortunately the TV was not a smart TV and we could not stream YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc. I will have to ask that on the next booking. Breakfast was uniquely fabulous and was in a restaurant directly across the street. Everyone we met in Istanbul was quite friendly and conversational. Fellow guests talked with us about their itineraries and past/future travels. We enjoyed the whole experience, except for walking up and down steep hills. (which is not the hotels' fault). We would definitely return to this hotel. Also, our room had a sitting area and large closets with a couch and chairs.

- • There was only one thing I did not like and that was not having a smart TV that could stream channels that could be heard in our language. Everything from the TV was Turkish. Although, I did not come to Istanbul to watch TV, it just would have been nice to get updates on the Iran war and other news.
Really nice location, rooms were super clean with some coffee and water provided. Nearby all major visits and people are super nice.

The hotel is fine, the room is small but nice.
The hotel is good for the price, you can quickly walk to tourist places, the airports are far but you can get there by transport and then walk, the streets are uphill and cobbled, consider this when taking luggage. Although an Uber or taxi could drop you off nearby. About 4 blocks away is the tram, I decided to stay one more night and they kindly supported me with the new reservation. I was able to leave my bags stored after check-in.

- • My room had a bit of humidity on the ceiling but nothing serious, it didn't smell bad, it could be more aesthetic. They kindly left me daily water, tea, or coffee but they didn't leave me the jug for hot water, as I didn't need it, I had no problems, I suppose if I had communicated it, they would have supported me with one.
