Room Smelled of Cigarette Smoke

Extremely disappointed in our hotel room stay. The room smelled of cigarettes and gave me a really bad headache. Keep in mind this hotel is smoke free. I reported this to the front desk and they did not seem very concerned. They provided me with a room spray, which I promptly used and it made no difference whatsoever. I reported once again that the room still smelled like cigarettes and they did nothing about it. I advised that it would be important to report this to management.

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was super friendly. The elevator was really small but we just made more than one trip with the luggage. My only complaint is about the pillows. Terrible, terrible pillows. Sleeping was really tough for us because of the pillows. Not acceptable for a 4star rated hotel.

Overall, it’s a great hotel in a convenient location. However, parking was difficult as the property doesn’t have its own, and no VIP benefits or upgrades were offered. The small elevator was sometimes inconvenient, especially at checkout, but the hotel itself is comfortable and enjoyable.

Beach was close by, family friendly, enjoyed privilege room, inside pool was good and spa facilities. Try to book early for spa if you have a short stay. Front desk staff including concierge was very friendly and helpful especially at recommending tours, Italy trip to Ventimiglia and then Monaco, Menton by train. Ile de Lerin trip. Housekeeping staff were great and dining room staff. There was a sur charge for roof pool and it had to be booked. I think they could have a special for paying guest to use the pool during restricted times throughout their stay at at less charge because every day was a new charge. Restaurant was out of use but bar was in service. Overall, loved it, great family friendly holiday at good rate on one of the best shopping street in Cannes, Rue d'Antibes. Everything was central, uber was 25 minutes to Nice, also went to Nice by train from Cannes station. Fabulous trip.

Clean and exactly what they advertise. Not like some other shifty hotels in the French Riviera. We had to move from another hotel that was a complete abomination. See our review of Hotel Victoria for more info.

The staff was exceptional however I felt like the property was not as advertised. The spa room was 1000 degrees so you couldn’t even sit by the indoor pool. Outside seating area was very small. There was no where to relax inside the hotel. All things that are totally fine, just not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. I do have to say the staff were amazing and this is nothing about the staff itself
