Nice Stay Overall, but Not Quite a True 5-Star Experience

The positives first: the breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety and great quality. The pool area is also beautiful and very enjoyable—definitely one of the highlights of the hotel.

- • 👎 What could be better: • Reception staff not very welcoming on arrival • Housekeeping timing odd (rooms cleaned around 3 PM instead of earlier / evening refresh) • Almost everything is extra (kids’ club, activities), which adds up quickly • Spanish restaurant experience was disappointing – group photo taken and then we were asked to pay for it, which felt inappropriate However, there were several aspects that were disappointing. The welcome experience set the tone—staff at reception were not particularly warm or welcoming, which is something you would normally expect from a 5-star property. Housekeeping timing was also unusual—our rooms were often cleaned around 3 PM, which is typically when you would expect a light refresh rather than full cleaning. It made it inconvenient when returning to the room in the afternoon. Another downside is that almost everything comes at an extra cost. While the room rate may initially seem reasonable, many services you would expect to be included in a 5-star hotel—such as kids’ club activities—are all paid, which quickly adds up. One experience that stood out in a negative way was at the Spanish restaurant. We were a large group and ordered extensively, yet during the meal, staff came to take a group photo and later tried to sell it to us. This felt quite inappropriate and not in line with the level of service expected in a luxury hotel. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with good facilities, but it lacks some of the attention to detail, service warmth, and inclusivity of offerings that truly define a 5-star experience.
Great place to stay with young toddlers
It had everything you needed and the staff were all so friendly and patient with our young kids. Would definitely go back again!! Food was fantastic!

- • Where do I begin. Rooms are dated and smell or sewege or a public bathroom. The bed is brick hard. There is noise all night and early morning waking you up. I walked bare feet on in the room and hard dirt marks on my feet. The pool reaturaunt has dirty stained chairs. The food not good and way overpriced. This hotel should not be classed as a five star and is way overpriced price
