- • The attitude of the people, mainly Miss Abigail Paniagua's mocking attitude, the terrible food, and the very rude people in the diving area
Beautiful hotel, but misleading advertising because it declares services that are not usable.
The hotel is well built, with cute cottages immersed in greenery and in a very quiet part of the island.

- • Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately below expectations for a five-star property. We chose the hotel mainly for the services and facilities advertised on Booking.com, but upon arrival, we discovered several limitations that had not been communicated in advance. The hotel claims to have 5 restaurants, but only upon arrival did we discover that we could only access one!! The other restaurants were reserved for guests staying more than three nights or for Luxury guests. Very unfair because we chose this property thinking we could try different things. Also, one of the two pools was closed for maintenance; it was the pool for adults only. The private beach was full of sargassum. We understand that this is a natural phenomenon and not directly attributable to the hotel, but upon our arrival, the quantity was such that it made access to the beach and sea difficult, and it was only cleaned days later... from a 5-star hotel, I expected them to improve it as soon as possible. Finally, we were informed that our luggage would be taken to the room, which did not happen and forced us to retrieve it ourselves. The main problem is not so much that some unforeseen situations occurred, but the lack of transparency and communication. Many of the services and facilities that had influenced our choice were not actually available, and we only found out after arrival. We expected an experience worthy of a five-star hotel, especially in terms of organization, communication, and level of service. Unfortunately, in these aspects, the stay did not meet our expectations at all.

- • The staff is not always friendly. Waiters are sometimes brusque and slow. Bartenders are very friendly and professional.
