A Magical 5th Stay

A magical 5th stay! Heartfelt birthday surprises and unmatched personalized care at Pan Pacific Hanoi I just completed my 5th stay at Pan Pacific Hanoi, and it truly felt like coming home. What made this visit exceptionally memorable was the outstanding hospitality and deep personal care from the entire team. A special thank you to Ha from the Concierge team and Tham at the Executive Lounge. Ha was incredibly attentive and caring, meticulously planning each day of my two-day itinerary to ensure everything was perfect. Whether it was coordinating a trip to church or arranging logistics for my next stop, Ha was always proactively enquiring after my well-being and managing every detail flawlessly. I was also deeply touched to receive a beautifully crafted welcome card celebrating my return for the fifth time.Since my birthday was around the corner, they went above and beyond by wishing me in advance with a delicious birthday cake. Walking into my room, I was truly happy to see a beautiful bouquet of lotus flowers prepared in advance by Ha. Furthermore, Tham demonstrated amazing memory and care; she quietly went about ensuring my stay went exactly how I liked it, even remembering the precise room I stayed in previously and setting it up perfectly to my preferences. I also had a deeply relaxing experience at the newly refurbished spa. The therapists are highly experienced, professional, and excellent at what they do. Dining was another major highlight of this trip. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering incredibly tasty dishes and a great selection of made-to-order cooked breakfast options. For lunch, the Chinese restaurant did not disappoint, serving a wide and delicious variety of dim sum dishes that I highly recommend. While there were lots of new faces in the Pacific Lounge this time, with Mia leading the team, everyone was still very welcoming and always ready to serve with a warm smile. It was also wonderful to see friendly, familiar faces like Tuan at the Front Desk and the rest of the Concierge team.This level of customised care, thoughtful memory, and genuine warmth is exactly why I keep coming back. Thank you, Pan Pacific Hanoi, for making my birthday and my 5th stay so magical!

Hotel with great location and comfort

The staffs are very helpful and what I like most is I can check in early and check out late without having to pay extra.

Older hotel, stay in bigger remodeled rooms

Pan Pacific is right outside of old quarter in the charming Westlake area. If you want to be in the action, this is not it. If you like a quiet area, this is a good hotel. First let me just say I booked through Amex and I expected 5 stars, I’d say this hotel is 4 star at best. The service was good but the rooms are dated and the hotel in general does not have the 5 star personalization/charm that most hotels have. My first room was run down and had an odor. The electrical plugs didn’t work, it smelled musty, the carpet was gross and the ac filter was falling out of my closet. It wasn’t until I called Amex to complain that the manager offered graciously to move me before I moved myself. I have to say the top level is a major difference and my room was way nicer when I moved. If I didn’t escalate the issue, I would probably not have stayed — it was pretty bad. All in all, service was great during my stay. The spa was awesome. Gym got crowded daily but it has amazing amenities. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and I guess depending on the room, it can be a nice stay. I would not book a basic room though until they remodel.
