- • The first picture of the pool, the one in ground floor by the sea, is misleading - if you are staying in Victory Annex, you are not allowed to go. The other available pool is nice, it’s just about expectations.
Love the huge room and bathtub ! Daily minibar replenishment and welcome wine.

Una maravilla de hotel, excelente!
The bathroom in the room is spectacular, giant, very complete. The room is super large and comfortable. The pool is fantastic and very good service. The restaurant is of excellent quality in its meals. The breakfast, very complete and varied. Completely satisfied with the hotel. To repeat on a new visit.

Good location, good hotel
We had visited Raffles in Singapore a couple of years ago, so wanted to stay at their 'sister hotel'. The location is great, a short walk from the town, or when it was very hot and humid a quick grab ride to most places. The hotel is very good, with lovely architecture, though there are signs of a lack of quality / maintenance in some small areas (e.g. ceilings). Food options are good and plentiful, with a great buffet breakfast. A great option, but it is no raffles (but then probably nowhere is).

- • Western guests allied to book pool side lounge chairs by using towels on the morning and not using them till later in the day...selfish

Super schönes Hotel im alten Kolonialstil. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Balkon mit Meerblick. Schöner Poolbereich mit Blick aufs Meer.

- • Begrenzte Anzahl an Liegen am Pool (für die Größe des Hotels). Frühstücksraum im Erdgeschoss (Nebengebäude Victory) sehr groß und dadurch laut. Wer ein gemütliches (kleineres) Frühstück schätzt, wird im 6. Flur fündig.
The most incredible stay
I’ve stayed in many hotels before, but this one felt so unique & incredible. I was lucky enough to stay in the Deluxe Suite, in the Heritage Wing, and everything was fantastic. The hotel itself is grand and has a lot of history. There’s everything you need here - two beautiful pools, several restaurants to choose from, and stunning views over the sea. Truly a luxurious stay when you’re in George Town!
