Ideal location
The hotel is fine - it's in an excellent location, it is clean, the pool is small and a bit tired looking but it was also clean and the towels were stocked. The restaurant was attractive looking, with a nice menu, and the meals we had were good.

- • There's nothing wrong with the hotel, but be aware that you're paying for the location - just a block up from the waterfront. We've stayed at many hotels in Canada and internationally and I found this one to be very average. In a different location, holding everything else equal, I would expect to pay quite a bit less. I've also stayed in another hotel in the waterfront area recently, in a similar price range, and it looked/felt much more luxurious.

- • The lobby and common areas are very worn and dated and could use a refresh. A bit the same for the rooms. We were there for a birthday and wanted to take photos but did not end up taking any at the hotel
