Beautiful grounds. Spacious rooms. Helpful bellman. Staff reached out before our stay to ask if we had any specific requests which was highly appreciated. Bikes arranged for us by reception staff with no problem (beware the shop closes at 7 pm so if you’re looking for an evening rental let them know in advance)

- • The room we got was modern (unlike the classic style shown in photos) which was honestly a bit disappointing as it did not reflect the hotel’s historic beauty. Service overall was quite slow. More importantly, there is a huge price/value mismatch with this hotel unfortunately. The room had no amenities. No water no coffee machine no water boiler no toiletries. They charged us for things that should have been provided for free by a 5 star hotel! For example we requested a coffee machine to be brought to the room, they told us over the phone it would cost €3. At checkout we paid €25 for it which was ridiculous. On top of that, the coffee you order at breakfast is at extra charge :/ The beach club was nice but as hotel guests you have zero advantage over outside guests (except being able to send charges to your room) The hotel itself is beautiful but unfortunately these small details ruin what could be an amazing stay

The new building is connected to the beach club by an underground passage, which is very convenient and safe for children. The beach club itself provides everything you need for a comfortable stay and is well worth the price.

- • L’accueil, indigne d’un 5 étoiles. La plage payante. 1000€ la nuit et vous devez payer 170€ de plus (250€ le lendemain) pour accéder à la plage privée! Et encore, sur les plus mauvaises places (plus de 600€ en front de mer 🤷♂️). Rien d’indiqué sur booking 12 euros le petit pot de cacahuètes en mini bar. Très, beaucoup trop cher, pour la prestation proposée.
