A home away from home in Rosebank
I loved that it felt like I had my own apartment, right near the event I needed to be at! Great to have a separate bedroom and the kitchen had everything I needed. Everyone was super friendly and helpful—would definitely book again. There is a supermarket right across the street so it was nice to not have to rely on eating out for every meal.

Clean, thoughtful care for clients (hand cream, vanity sachet, sanitary sachet, things to make coffee and tea, hydration station, etc.), good communication, tastefully furnished and equipped, comfortable space, good lighting, architecture is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, situated in a good area with easy access to shops and restaurants. The majority of the workers were very helpful and courteous even though they seem to be overwhelmed during peak hours at meal times.

- • The glass partition of the bathtub was faulty. Consequently, there was a lot of water on the floor when I was bathing to the extent that I had to mop it so that I didn’t slip. I contacted the person in charge and they said they’ll call someone to look into it. The air-conditioner was leaking water which spread water on the floor. I had to put a towel on the floor to prevent the water from spreading in the room. The microwave wasn’t working; it took some time to resolve the problem. Consequently, I lost my appetite and didn’t enjoy my dinner. Breakfast was passable but needs to be more varied, especially the cooked dishes. Eating the same things morning after morning became unappetizing. The beans were too salty. The dining room was too small for the size of the hotel. Dinner and lunch services were too slow because priority seemed to have been given to clients who ordered room service. The first evening, I met some clients who said they had been waiting for their food for almost an hour. Therefore, I canceled my order and dined elsewhere. I was shocked to learn shortly before I checked out that a bill of 800 Zar had been put under my name. It was later discovered it was a mistake. All those things created stressful conditions which made me not fully enjoy my stay.
A very convenient stay for work and I'd happily stay here again

Poor management, lack of attention to detail, and pilfering ruined this stay.

- • The maintenance in our room 38 was bad. The safe did not work, the air-conditioning was set at 15 degrees and did not change, the light next to the bed had not been checked and did not work. On asking for assistance on Sunday evening, the front of house staff were very pleasant but made no effort to get this fixed and said we must wait until maintenance could come on Monday, and we froze all night. On Monday, the maintenance crew came into our room when we were out. On our return, the safe had not been fixed, and a key had been left with the safe but it did not work, so we had no safe for the full duration of our stay. The aircon was not functioning, and the light had been fixed, and the small plastic bag containing our phone, kindle, and iPad cables was missing out of our room. This was completely unacceptable. The honesty of someone on the staff is questionable. The restaurant and the service were very strange and poor. Items on the menu were not available, and service was very slow. The room service was fine, but the quality of the food on Tuesday morning was poor.
