This hotel has become old, tired & desperately in need of a complete makeover. I have been staying there for some years to attend the Canton Fair & was shocked by how much it has deteriorated.

it is OK for a short stay in a local area, 20 m away from the metro, Line 2 and 8

Despite requested for NON-SMOKING room, we were assigned to a SMOKING ROOM on a SMOKE FLOOR. We practically inhaling 2nd hand smoke during our stay. The room is spacious with 2 full bathrooms. Carpet of this hotel, including our room, has a grey-dark coating throughout. It is aged to call for replacement. The carpet in our room are torn. This hotel does not deserve for 3* but NO-STAR.
