I expected more from a 3-star hotel

- • The first room given had defective plumbing. I washed my hands and the water poured out onto the bathroom floor. The room was changed but imagine if the hotel had been completely full as has happened to me before! In the second room my partner and I took a shower and found that the water wouldn’t flow away and I had to take a shower with my feet in dirty water and the shower tray nearly overflowed. My daughter had a similar experience in her room on the same floor. We had to complain to the staff obviously and we felt that this had been reported before but maintenance had not been carried out and cleaning staff clearly didn’t clean the bathrooms with water or they would have noticed the plumbing issues and reported this to the management. On the plus point after asking for some recompense, i.e., not freely given, a voucher for free access to the cold drinks refrigerator was given. The staff response was just fair and customer care lacking

- • Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the room did not work properly and one window could not be opened as the room faced the train station and it was too loud with the window open.
