Comfortable, spacious and very well located to discover Banff with family.
Very good base to discover Banff and its surroundings. We stayed there for three nights with family and particularly appreciated the spacious, comfortable room equipped with quality furniture. The underground parking is also very convenient when traveling by car. After our busy days in the Rockies, the indoor pool and hot tub were particularly enjoyable. Finally, the location is a real highlight: about a 10-minute walk to reach the center of Banff, making it easy to leave the car at the hotel in the evening.

- • Our only experience at the hotel bar was unfortunately disappointing due to a service that was not up to par that evening. It did not make us want to return during the three nights of our stay. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with the establishment.

The gentleman who was the concierge was great. He gave us info to get to the gondola that otherwise we would have messed up our day completely.

- • Impossible to have breakfast in August. Crowds of people. The hotel is generally ugly. A shame in such an impressive environment.
Good hotel, centrally located, but pricey.
Hotel is slightly out of the center of Banff - but everything is within walking distance. The room was very spacious as well as the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The hotel has an indoor pool and small sauna, and that's all fine. You can also have dinner in the evening, but we didn't. A bit of Google research shows that there are better alternatives within walking distance. Also convenient is the underground parking garage (for an additional fee).

- • The price/quality - although everything was fine and the room was spacious and clean, you do pay top dollar. When you compare the price to what you get, it's a bit disappointing. Perhaps it's due to Banff, but for the money, we have slept in nicer and better hotels. The restaurant doesn't look "enticing". The food is probably fine, but the coziness is far from it. The room has an old-fashioned air conditioner under the window - it works fine and it has to because the gas fireplace is also on - in the middle of summer...... The downside is that when it starts, you sleep next to a taking off Airbus A380.
Superb mountain hotel very pleasant.
