Execellent service ☺️
I had a wonderful stay at Howard Plaza – The Fern, Agra. The housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout my stay. The room was always clean, well-maintained, and perfectly organized. Special thanks to Deepak from the housekeeping team for his polite behavior and excellent service. The food was delicious with a good variety of options, and the restaurant service was excellent. The swimming pool area was clean, well-maintained, and very relaxing. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Awsome value for money
It was great experience to stay with family. Rooms were neat and clean. Breakfast had good spread and tasty. Location is close to main tourist area and in a clean non crowded area so easy to reach to all main location. In room dining is bit premium but highly recommended for stay

75 days of stay!!! No one knows them better than me
2.5 months of stay and an amazing experience. I was on a long business stay and despite being a tourist friendly hotel, it was an amazing place to stay at. The staff is very courteous, especially Mr. Pancham (Manager) and they took care of everything from the start. The rooms are neat and clean and the proximity to the TAJ MAHAL is at waling distance. The only feedback I could give is on to improve their breakfast menu. It is very basic and non-delightful.

Perfect place to stay for site seeing
If one is going for a site seeing to Agra then this is one of the most suitable properties . Taj and Red Fort are within 10 mins drive. Plenty of eating places around. Property is well maintained, and impressive. The staff at the front desk Ms Shabiya & Tarun go out of their way to help guests , were extremely courteous , professional and represent the hotel in a perfect manner. Rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. The only issue was with late night noise by the guests in other rooms which couldn’t be addressed by the hotel staff despite complaining , that disturbed our sleep. The dining hall service needs to be faster. Overall a very good hotel, will certainly stay whenever one gets chance to visit Agra next.

Not worth it!
We booked 2 rooms for 4 people for a night and upon check-in, we were told that the new year's eve gala dinner is mandatory at the hotel at 3,500 rupees per person and payment is required at check-in which we did. When we went for the dinner at 9pm, we had to wait for almost 30 mins after being seated to be served entrees. When asked if drinks are included in the price of a fortune gala dinner paid, we were advised it was not and that we are to pay extra if we needed drinks. Are you telling me that the 14,000 rupees paid was only for starters and food? Or was it to cover your new years eve costs? Isn't this a big rip off? Nonetheless, after starters being served, we waited for almost over an hour for the mains to be served. Mind you no updates from the waiters or any hotel staff on what's next or when the mains will be served, also no notice displayed anywhere on the program plan for the night. Upon asking we were told that it will take some time. The main dish was finally served at 11pm. There are senior citizens in the hotel and there is no consideration for them as they might be hungry. When the food was ready half of the pots were empty and honestly the food was not worth the value of what was paid, which was veg & non-veg biryani, pasta, lamb rogan josh, naan, buttter chicken, raita, gulab jamum, salad and ice-cream. Apparently, this much of money was paid for these foods? Isnt it that a fortune was charged? I believe when people visit Agra as tourists they work hard to earn, save and than spend their money on their trip not everyone is rich its basically hard earned money so is it really fair to say that the cost charged is reasonable? Furthermore, the porters are always waiting for tips. If the services is not at par there is no reason to charge extra or to ask for tips. Every cost has to be realistic. Hotel is quite aged and old, towels provided are dirty.

Nice
Our stay at this property was good. Located not very far from Taj Mahal, the rooms of this hotel are decent and the food is good as well. Its actually much better than some reviews suggest it is.

Need better trained restaurant staff!
This is an older property that appears to have once been known for its grandeur and is now attempting to reposition itself under The Fern Group’s branding. While there are signs of intent, the overall experience remains uneven. We stayed here as part of a large group. The rooms were functional and came with standard amenities. The television was smaller than expected by current standards, and the bathroom amenities did not meet expectations for a property of this category. Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of the stay. While the Indian selection was the clear highlight—offering well-prepared local items such as bedami puri, paratha and dosa—the experience was undermined by poorly managed service. Service further diluted the experience, with staff appearing untrained in basic hospitality etiquette and struggling to manage the crowd. The continental offerings, including pancakes, muffins and croissants, were also subpar and did little to compensate for the service gaps. Overall, the stay was acceptable but far from memorable. Unless meaningful improvements are made to breakfast operations, service training and overall upkeep, the property will continue to fall short of the standards implied by its branding.

Overall an average experience!
This is an old property that once enjoyed a reputation for grandeur but is clearly past its prime. Under The Fern Group’s new branding, there appears to be an attempt to reposition and rediscover its identity. We stayed here as part of a large group. The room was fairly standard and equipped with basic amenities, though the television felt undersized by today’s standards. Bathroom amenities were below expectations and could use significant improvement. The breakfast spread was average, nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the service. The breakfast area was poorly managed, and the staff lacked basic hospitality etiquette, which noticeably impacted the overall experience. With better upkeep and a stronger focus on service training, this property could potentially live up to its past reputation.
