Great Place to Relax and Rejuvenate
Having not visited Eilat in over 17 years, we were looking for a place to unwind and rejuvenate a bit and the Herod's Vitalis delivered in a big way. Staff was far above average in every department encountered - reception, housekeeping, dining rooms, lounges, spa, security/parking. They were responsive, engaging, proactive, HOSPITABLE (which these days is NOT a given). They clearly take pride in their work and the experience they aim to provide to their guests. The hotel is physically a bit tired in some public areas, but the room we had was terrific (Rain suite I believe it's called). A throwback to vintage hotel - shoehorns, laundry bags, and sewing kits - along with all the modern additions (high quality in-room cappucino/tea, smart TV, good WIFI (posting from the room now). Jacuzzi in the spa was a dream. Saunas (wet and dry) actually worked the way they are meant to. Fantastic massage therapists too.

Probably the best 5 stars hotel in Eilat we stayed at. Spacy rooms with balcony and jacuzzi, clean, quiet (no kids allowed). Good Spa facilities, tasty breakfast, but in my view, still too expensive for winter season.

No understanding of providing service
Having not visited for many years, I was disappointed by the attitude of the staff. There was never a smile and they were not very welcoming. My partner and I both had a classic massage and the oil/butter they used was cold. It was not preheated like I'm used to in a spa. Afterwards I was told that I should have paid more for a different massage if this was my expectation and that we should have told the masseuse to warm the oil if it was cold. No apology, no service, they just implied it was our problem. Very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this standard.

Great rest in an atmosphere of silence and bliss
We again spent in Vitalis hotel three nights at the beginning of November, one of several pleasant months for a holiday in Eilat. Also during this stay, we found here a number of positive changes and pleasant surprises. The hotel gives a sense of warm, relaxing and very cozy guest home. Absence of children is one of hotel features and creates silence and comfort for a peaceful holiday. All our requests were taken into account, we once again received an excellent room on the 12th floor, huge and spotlessly clean. We found here a bottle of wine, fruits, sweets, nuts and mineral water kindly prepared in advance. Breakfast was of rich gourmet choice and tasty including hot dishes, especially great variety of high quality cheeses, salted and smoked fish, vegetable salads, fruits and desserts. A wide range of scrambled eggs is also available. Despite the half board reservation, in fact, in the nice lounge zone on the 2nd floor during lunch guests are offered additional meal, including appetizers, salads, desserts and even hot dishes. The waiters were young, very helpful and attentive. Gourmet dinner is of rich choice for all the most demanding taste. SPA-zone as usually is at a high service level and very personal. The most attractive hotel features continues to be its unbeatable service. In this regard, we would like to acknowledge the very professional hotel management by CEO Mrs. Liat Cohen. We are very impressed with her personal and very warm attitude. Our thanks to her with our deep sympathy! All the staff is young, well trained ,very friendful and our especially thanks to security person Mr. Vladimir and receptionist Mrs. Esther for their invaluable help. We thank everyone with hope to return soon and peaceful times.

The best hotel in Eilat
We go every year for a summer vacation in Eilat, we visited all the hotels in Eilat and for sure this is the best hotel we stayed in! The service is fantastic and all the employees, the cleaner, the waiter, the security guard and the managers do the best job there is. The spa is perfect and the pools are great. The hotel is boutique and hosts about 30 couples in my opinion, which is much more pleasant and fun, the crowds are not noticeable. And the highlight is the food, in my life I have never been to a hotel that serves dishes at such a high level in the dining room! Thanks to the entire Harrods team for an amazing experience that ended too quickly☹️

I can't wait to go again!!
About 8 years ago, my DH took me to Eilat for a few days vacation. We stayed at Herod's Palace. It was wonderful. Since then we have made many trips together to Eilat and stayed at many other of the large hotels and some smaller ones, mostly the 4 or 5 star rated hotels. While all of them were okay, not terrible, none came up to the standard set for me by Herod's Palace. Last week we were once again in Eilat. This time we stayed at Herods Vitalis Spa. It really is part of the Palace with some difference - emphasis on spa and no children! But one has access to all that Herod's Palace offers as well. It was incredibly hot while we were there so we stayed most of the time at the hotel, venturing out only twice. We ate all our meals at Herod's - breakfast buffet, salads in the lounge during the day and at the two restaurants which Herod's hosts: Casa Luna is a dairy restaurant and Lawrence a meat restaurant. Well, Herod's did NOT disappoint. EVERYTHING was wonderful, the room, the view, the service, the food, the spa, the massage I ordered. It really proved to us that from now on - if we can afford it - Herod's is the place to go, and for us Vitalis Spa is IT! There was only one tiny thing we did not like: the TUB in the bathroom. We much prefer walk-in showers - they are easier and safer for us. However, I was informed that there are plans to replace the tubs with walk-in showers and I hope that is true. Forget 5 stars. This was a 6 stars experience! I can't wait to go again!

Excellant experience and service.
Excellant experience and service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great view to the see. Hospitality was caring and personal. We had a great weekend. Breakfast was tastey and with great varieties of dishes although it was Saturday. Proximity to the see is great.

First visit there, the hotel is good but some facilities closed without properly notifying you during reservation - the pool, the lounge. Not possible for example to sit in the lobby and order coffee. They called 2 days before arrival to notify but this is too late and not transparent. Especially given the premium price. However spa facilities are open and great, I enjoyed and will return.
