Good, but not the "Marriott" stay I expected
Location was great, rooms were a good size with useful amenities, however, there were a few negative aspects. The fridge randomly buzzed every night, which was pretty loud, the wardrobe is metal so it was always noisy opening the door, taking out/putting back the ironing board, etc., and the street outside my window was busy with loud cars all night (this could be due to the exact room, but still worth noting). When checking in, I was given lots of info, but the amount of leaflets and extra info about signing up for the membership was a little overwhelming after a long flight. It wasn't a huge issue, but not something I experienced at any of my other US hotels on this trip. The laundry facilities were good, although 2 washers and 2 dryers meant they were mostly used, but they did the job once I was able to get a space. Also, the staff were friendly during the stay. I did find what looked like a small blood drop on the duvet, so I switched it with the other bed in the room, but it wasn't a pleasant find. Overall, the room was okay if you get a good deal, but personally, I'd probably look at other options before staying again, just to improve the sleep I got while staying there.

The location was great. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I came for a conference from Australia, and the team really supported me to make sure that I had everything I needed ready to go. It helped reduce my stress, and I just felt like it was a great all-round experience.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city. The cable car, wharf, and Italian quarter are around the corner. It has a great terrace for breakfast, provided you have shopped for yourself ;-).

A nice short stay
Great location, easy to go to get snacks and go to the pier. Liked that there were daily activities from the hotel.

- • The courtyard is loud, and the soundproofing between floors and rooms is poor. They give you earplugs in advance, so probably something that the hotels are aware of, but it did disturb our sleep for a few nights.
Great San Francisco stay!
Great location to explore the San Francisco waterfront! We liked the gym and the daily activities the hotel offered, e.g., sampling of rolls from a local bakery, walking tour, etc. A nice touch was the free laundry (although I didn't realize it was only accessible from 9 am-9 pm, and I got locked out so my clothes got locked in the washer :-)
