Very lovingly furnished. Very clean. With washer-dryer!!!! Washing machine tabs, coffee capsules, shampoo, shower gel, etc. all provided. Fridge and freezer. Only 1 hotplate, 1 pan, and 1 pot and microwave but comprehensive tableware, glasses, cups, bowls... 2 supermarkets within 2 minutes' distance. Hostess contacted in advance via WhatsApp, speaks perfect English, creates a personal sightseeing plan and takes care of taxis, etc. Couldn't be better.

- • In the area, it is almost impossible to eat without a reservation. You can't even look around or stop by spontaneously. Many restaurants close very early, around 10:30 pm. Unfortunately, we didn't like that at all, we still like to go out for dinner later in the evening. So, you should make a reservation in advance and/or cook at home.

Natsuki was absolutely wonderful, very welcoming upon our arrival to settle us in. She even had a suggested itinerary and local map for us. The accommodation was traditional Japanese which is what we were after, and the location was perfect. Quiet but centrally located to many attractions.

- • Tall people need to be a bit careful in this one. The doorways to the tatami are short, and anyone over 6 ft can't stand up fully in the loft main bedroom...but this was part of the style and charm
Memorable!!!
Beautiful traditional and comfortable house. Everything was clean, beautifully considered and very hospitable. Natsuki was incredibly generous with her time and went the extra mile in helping us with our Kyoto trip planning. We loved our time here and cannot wait to return!

- • Very minor issue-due to the size of the kitchen it was difficult to reach cutlery, etc.
