I was very comfortable
Luis was very friendly and accommodating. we talked for an hour and he gave me a map of places he recommended. The location was excellent, and the toco shops were excellent, very tasty but smaller than normal.

- • The noise, it's right across from a park which was crowded everyday and night. I believe it's next to a school because I could hear kids screaming but the playground was very high so I couldn't see them only hear them.

The Dear is such a wonderful experience from an exceptionally hospitable welcome by the friendly owner. She took time to make local recommendations, personally. The location is secure and within walking distance of major museums, bakeries, cafes. But across the road from the gate is Parque del Carmen, which hosts Events and expos featuring authentic crafts, music and food events. Every day there is something fun to see and do…marvellous!! The rooms and space is quite clean and well cared for. Great WiFi, hot water and water pressure. Lovey attentive staff. Of all my travels in Mexico, The Dear has been the most enjoyable.

The hospitality at arrival was very good. We could check in with the brother of the owners and he explained everything about the hostel and Puebla in detail, including recommendations. He really took his time for us. We would recommend this accomodation.

Very cozy place but be careful with some details.
The hotel is a house with several rooms and we stayed in a suite that includes a sofa bed and a armchair. It was quite nice and cozy. We loved the rooftop it has, with tables, and also that it is very central in Puebla, you go out to the Parque del Carmen, very close to the center and there are many things nearby. It also feels very safe the place. A big plus is that they had drinking water for their guests and also coffee with French presses, and a fully equipped kitchen, where I made coffee that was really good. The truth is that the place is very cozy.

- • Being a suite, the room did not have a TV, to entertain yourself at night if you want, only in a shared room on the lower floor, take that into account. The water pressure in the shower was almost nil, it barely came out in a trickle so it was uncomfortable to shower. The other point is that you have to consider if you go on the weekend, because we stayed on Thursday and Friday, on Thursday no problem at all, but on Friday, there was a bar with karaoke a couple of buildings away that was at full volume and noise from nearby places, so there was a lot of noise at night to sleep. If you are someone who sleeps early, take that into account.

The place is very beautiful and has an excellent location. The person who attends you when you arrive is very attentive and explains everything accurately. I only stayed one night but I'm sure it has everything for a longer stay.

- • The only detail is that the fan was very small, perhaps it would help to have a larger one since the window is also very small and it can get a little hot.
