Great location- terrible smelling rooms
The location was great, only a block or so back from the main road with all the restaurants and beach. Because we had booked a 3 bed residence, we got access to the pool in that building which was actually the better pool by far -it had a lot more sun than the main hotel area pool.

- • We booked a 3bed residence and there was a terrible smell in our rooms, it was disguised with strong room spray when we arrived but progressively got worse throughout our week stay. We tried opening windows, requested to be moved, but there was only space to move on our last night (which we then declined as we were leaving early next day). They did start to send staff up every night with some lavender spray to spray around the rooms and curtains but honestly in an hour it goes back to a very horrible damp acidic smell. After reading more reviews, it seems this is a common problem here and they have not fixed it. Be aware when you book here you risk getting one of the “bad” rooms - the smell is really terrible. We sent an email to management on feedback from our stay and have never heard back, not impressed by this service for a hotel that is supposedly 5 stars.
Good Location, friendly staff at reception and confortable room.
The staff at front desk was very friendly and facilitated an early check-in. The room was nice and comfortable and top location.

- • The breakfast. It closes at 10.00 am and we arrived at 9.45 there was basically nothing left. The staff was untrained and when I asked for some refills, the girl said ...it was about to close... and only when I reply "but we arrived 15 min before close, so is this a school canteen? Because we arrive close to end we have to be satisfied with "leftoversª. Not a good service" this is when she then asked the Chefs to restock some of the items. Was not a happy moment for sure!
Tv wasn’t working when we arrived and called for assistance to get it working. Attendant came to room and sorted it out

- • Housekeeping service very poor, fifty percent at best of getting room serviced Tiles very slippery when wet. Slipped and caused considerable injury- no follow up. Asked for copy of incident report to assist when we returned home for medical treatment and did not receive it.
