- • Booked for 3 people but was informed that had to pay extra for a bed and breakfast for 3rd person. Hotel manager helped and did not charge anything extra but issue is with booking process not making it clear of the hotel policy.
I do not recommend it, due to the lack of communication and open-mindedness of the receptionists

- • Staff unable to speak English and quite obtuse. Due to a very trivial payment error on their part, they made me lose 1 hour and 7 minutes of my time, despite my attempts to explain to them that it was a non-issue. There was no way to change their minds. Instrumental was a communication with the bank that said... to do as I had been suggesting for over an hour! All mediated by the automatic translator of a cell phone; maddening.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, with a serene Chinese garden courtyard that was picture perfect. The staff (particularly Mancy and Angel) were extremely courteous and helpful in attending to our various needs and clarifications.

Recommended!!!
Structure a stone's throw from the main street, clean and spacious rooms. Very fast laundry service, we stayed 2 nights and in one day I had my clothes ready. There is a bar service with an espresso machine, breakfast with a wide range of European and Chinese offerings.

Serene and calming vibes
Location is excellent, Breakfast was nice with tons of eastern and western choices, hotel grounds were beautiful, rooms were spacious and clean. Angel who works at the front desk was super helpful with all the questions we had about the hotel, cabs, and local restaurants recommendations. Check out was also super speedy.

- • Wi-fi was not great, the weather was not especially hot during our stay with the windows open but at night it can get noisy with the peacock and ducks, asked about the air-con but was told the central air was not turned on yet. Mini fridge was not cold. It's more like a cabinet for your drinks.

Traditional luxury in Xi’an
Fabulous and authentic hotel in a historic location. Amazing staff with thanks to Michael at concierge for his advice and service. Incredible room and lovely lobby bar/cafe. Markets shops and restaurants all walking distance
