- • It was quite far from the main road (about 10 minutes walk). We got a room for 10-12 people but we were only 3. So on our part, it was expensive. But we had our own private bathroom but it was very dark inside and water flowed slowly. Not sure about cleanliness for the bathroom.
Excellent. Just a little more upgrading.

Homely stay with lovely proprietors.
Really nice proprietors, great view of Mayon volcano in the distance, comfortable and quiet room.

- • Wifi was very patchy throughout the day (maybe because they hold sporadic seminars and there's too many people on the network?). A little far from the main part of town.

The host is nice, we did feel welcome and able to ask for help when we needed it. It's nice you can use a kitchen and can purchase snacks/drinks.

- • The budget room we initially got assigned to felt very cramped and smelled and felt somewhat damp. It didn't have a window outside and is located right beside the kitchen area making it noisy. We soon saw it wasn't very clean. A.o. many insects in the walls and rat poop. After finding rat poop on and under the pillows we asked for another room. The guys were very nice and accommodated us fast by giving us another room. This room was definitely an improvement, with a window, more space and it was slightly cleaner. We still found rat poop, but not in the bed. Still compared to other stays we've had, this was definitely not worth the 850 peso we paid.
