The owner was very good at communicating with me from the time I booked to questions I had leading up to my arrival. I also had a noise issue with my neighbour one night that he very quickly dealt with which was really appreciated. I picked this place because it was far away from the main areas, but the roads on the island are SO BAD, that by the last day this started to feel like a lot. If you are planning on doing a lot of sightseeing try to plan your days well so you can minimize driving. Lots of other reviews mention it but the roosters are a lot! They started when I was there at about 430AM and some days were louder than others. If you are a light sleeper or not a morning person, this might not be the place for you. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean, breakfast provided was delicious!

An overnight stay with a few flaws
The location was optimal, provided you rent a scooter and explore the island. The pool was nice for a refreshing dip on hot days - the sun was visible until about 4 PM. There was a small but good selection of breakfast and you could also have dinner on-site, both were delicious. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions, we were also picked up and dropped off at the port, of course for a fee.

- • Unfortunately, our cottage was very dark, which is why we looked for brightness outside. We rented the cottage for 2 people but there were several roommates (geckos) who liked to hide in the roof and occasionally do their business inside the house (although geckos don't do anything, we still found it disturbing/unpleasant). The pool loungers are still doing their best but should be repaired/replaced.
Very nice facility and super nice family
Very clean, very friendly and helpful family. They were always trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were picked up from the port, driven to a massage or a supermarket. The tour to the spots was also great.

Our stay on Nusa Penida was absolutely wonderful. Putu, the owner, took care of us in an exceptional way from the very first moment until we left. He was always ready to help, give advice, and made us feel truly welcome. The whole place has a very warm and family-like atmosphere, which made our stay even more special. The rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, perfect after a day of exploring the island’s beauty. The food was excellent – fresh, tasty, and prepared with love, giving us a real taste of home-cooked meals. This accommodation is not just a place to stay, it’s an experience of genuine hospitality. We can highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort combined with a personal touch. Thanks to Putu and his family, our time here was unforgettable, and we would love to come back again.

The hosts were very nice, the guy offered to be our driver and everything was great, the cleanliness also stood out compared to other accommodations in Indonesia. In general, I recommend it.

Fantastic experience, to be repeated
The villa is located in the center of the island, a quiet and welcoming corner. The staff is very helpful, with excellent breakfasts and dinner with a small but very satisfying choice. The owner turned out to be a very humble and generous person, as he took us around the island at a reasonable price, but above all he helped us when our ferry (heading to the Gili Islands) was canceled. Super recommended!!!
