Disappointing experience for a five-star hotel
What I liked most was the hotel's location and the overall comfort of the room. However, my experience was not what I expected for a five-star hotel. The service left much to be desired, they only left two bottles of water in the room and we had to ask for more. Also, we could not watch the World Cup in the room; it was only available at the bar, where obviously you had to consume. We also had issues with the credit card deposit, as they placed a high hold and we are still waiting for the release of the difference. Overall, I expected much better attention and experience.

The pool heating was turned off around 5:30 p.m., so it was no longer enjoyable to use it in the late afternoon. The pool bar only served until 5:00 p.m., which greatly limited the experience. Also, the shops inside the hotel are closed on Sundays. We could not watch the World Cup from the room either; they only broadcast it at the bar, where you had to consume. On top of that, they placed a very high hold on the credit card as a deposit and, upon check-out, part of that money was still pending to be returned. Overall, I expected a much higher level of service and attention for a hotel of this category.

- • Somethings were way overpriced. 8 USD for 1 egg is a bit overboard and makes no logical sense.
