Excellent location with friendly staff
The Hotel is perfect for a stay in Lyon, as it is centrally located and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We upgraded to a Suite which was on the upper floor with a view of Bellecour Square.

- • The room was a little dated and requires some upgrading - especially the bathroom. Otherwise everything was perfect.

- • During our first evening and the next morning, our neighbors had the television on and we could hear it. I don't think they turned on the television, but that the soundproofing is non-existent. The window in the room was not airtight. Fortunately, it was not cold...

The restaurant and service were very good and outstanding. The breakfast room was a nice experience and the service was also good, but the younger service personnel need more training.

- • I have no answer to that - it was a surprisingly pleasant experience of my Europe tour (worth comparing with all other hotels so far 4 1/2 star)
The biggest disappointment was that we didn't get the panoramic room we booked. I think it is likely that this was a booking error.

Its location was very convenient, the rooms have an aristocratic character, and you are close to everything.

- • Perhaps the reception should be better arranged at the entrance for the character and style of this hotel, but from what I understand, they have renovated a new restaurant and sacrificed the reception.
