The very best of Nice
The obvious destination in Nice. A combination of refined International 5 star service combined with a touch of the French Riviera. The entire team made our stay memorable and we will certainly return. A particular compliment to the rooftop SEEN team as well as Vanessa at Guest Services who all went out of their way to extend world-class service to us. Keep up the good work!

Profit over guests' health – a "Leading Hotel of the World" that has lost the plot
Let me start where credit is due: the staff is genuinely warm and goes out of its way. Breakfast is phenomenal – easily among the best I've had at this price point. The location is excellent, the renovation tasteful. These people deserve better management. Now for the rest. Paint fumes on an occupied floor. Half the floor was being repainted while guests were sleeping there. The smell was not a minor inconvenience – it was nauseating. Eyes watering, eyes burning, the kind of air quality that makes you look for a window or, frankly, a gas mask. I have stayed in Ibis properties that would not pull this. A budget chain understands that you do not expose paying guests to solvent fumes overnight. Apparently, the concept of a "Leading Hotel of the World" does not extend to that particular standard. At €400 per night, one expects not to feel like an uninvited guest on a construction site. Air conditioning: the art of not following through. The unit would not cool below 22°C. I reported it. A technician came, checked everything, left – and nothing changed. I reported it again. Nothing. No room change was offered, though I asked for it. No lightweight summer duvet was offered. The matter was simply dropped. Mistakes happen in any hotel; what defines a property is how it responds when a guest flags a problem. Here, the answer was: it doesn't. The sauna: a checklist item, not an amenity. Charged separately at €25. No towels provided. The smell was unpleasant. A bracket was loose enough to make one genuinely consider the structural implications of sitting down. Operating hours until 7pm – useful for guests who check in at 3pm and have no evening plans, presumably. The steam room did not reach a meaningful temperature. This is not a wellness facility; it is the idea of one. I will spare the smaller details. The bottom line: none of what is described above is acceptable at any price point. Exposing guests to paint fumes overnight is not a premium-versus-budget question — it is a question of the basic duty of care. Reporting a fault, watching a technician leave without fixing it, and then being ignored on the follow-up: that is not bad luck, that is a management culture. This hotel charges for excellence and delivers indifference. The staff deserves better. So do the guests.

Boutique hotel in a prime spot
Recommended by my fellow traveler who had stayed before and very happy we chose this hotel. Very understated and classy and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. When I reported a fault it was fixed within minutes! We didn’t eat in the hotel other than breakfast which was a delicious and extensive choice of continental and cooked breakfasts; and a couple of cheeky cocktails one evening in the bar with views overlooking the old town. The central location was in the middle of a number of designer shops and we walked everywhere. Felt safe as two women walking back at night! Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Absolutely wonderful property!
Visited for 3 nights with wife and daughter! Excellent location and terrific views of the Mediterranean! Outstanding service. This was made even special at the rooftop restaurant by Elina who is exceptional. Smiling and very personalized attention to detail. Exceptionally capable and well-versed with multiple cultures!

Anatara Plaza Nice France
The hotel itself is stunning, especially the rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the Mediterranean. Every member of the team — from Food & Beverage, to the Concierge team, to the Front Desk — delivered exceptional service that truly elevated our stay. I loved the experience so much that when my husband and I were traveling from Monaco to Tunis, Africa, we actually shortened our stay in Africa so we could return to Anantara Plaza Nice on Sunday, March 1st for breakfast. I wanted my husband to experience it for himself. During our return visit, I told him all about the Louis Roederer tasting, and this time we had the pleasure of meeting Alex, who created the entire champagne tasting experience in that beautiful room. I have already recommended Anantara Plaza Nice to an industry friend visiting Nice and Monaco, and I’ll continue to do so. It’s truly a must-visit hotel that delivers an unforgettable experience. Thank you to the entire Anantara team for making our visit so memorable.

Excellent breakfast service from Eliot
We had a wonderful stay at the Anantara Plaza Nice, and one of the highlights each morning was the breakfast service thanks to Eliot. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure everything was perfect for our family. His warm attitude and professionalism made us feel genuinely welcome every morning. Small details like great service make a big difference, and Eliot truly represents the level of hospitality you hope to find in a great hotel. Thank you, Eliot, for taking such good care of us during our stay in Nice.

Exceptional
Our experience at the rooftop restaurant at Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel was one we won’t forget. Elina welcomed us so warmly with exceptional warmth and elegance. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the view over Nice makes the whole experience even more special. If you’re visiting Nice, I highly recommend staying here or at least coming for a meal at the rooftop restaurant.

Nice stay
I had a beautiful stay at Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel. The view is absolutely stunning, one of those panoramas that makes you pause for a second and just breathe it in. The terrace is perfect for breakfast, especially in winter when you can enjoy the soft sun and feel like you’ve escaped somewhere much warmer. It’s such a luxury to sip coffee with that view and sunlight on your face. A special thank you to Elina, who was incredibly helpful and kind during breakfast. She made the mornings even more pleasant with her warm attitude and attention. Would definitely come back 🤍

Gorgeous hotel, fab location and a great experience
We were so lucky to have chosen Anantara for our stay in Nice during the February Carnival. The hotel is brilliantly located within walking distance to the beach, (close enough for access but far enough from all the hubbub) all the shops and restaurants and about 10mins from old Nice. Its entrance is nestled amongst the designer store street along Avenue de Verdune so much so that you might miss it. For this reason, the hotel lacks a wow factor lobby, but has a boutique hotel feel to it. This is more than compensated for by the quality of the service, which, given that the hotel is owned by a world-class Thai hospitality company, should come as no surprise. We had a Grand Deluxe room which was perfect for two people in size, gorgeous interior design. Only quibble was the design of the shower door which meant water spilling out when you opened it, and inconsistent replenishment of tea/ coffee and milk but perhaps just an oversight. Lovely to have turndown service. Fluffy robes and soft slippers supplied. If you consider this hotel make sure you select breakfast - really great views on the rooftop and delicious à la carte choices as well as breakfast buffet. Again staff there were extremely hospitable and looked after us well. We will definitely come back to stay next time - ticks all the boxes. If coming to stay via public transport take the tram line 2 to Jean Medicin from the airport and it’s about 8mins easy walk down the shopping street (fine if you only have hand luggage).
