- • THE BATHROOMS DO NOT HAVE AN EXTRACTOR FAN AND THE STEAM AND ODORS HAVE NOWHERE TO ESCAPE
The hotel isn't bad, but there are no sanitary pads or tampons; I won't be coming back.

- • The absence of the old amenities, good pens, chocolates when turning down the bed to sleep. The lobby bar, the most beautiful in Argentina, no longer has the top-notch service it always had. What a shame! I've been to the Alvear more than 5 times.
Impeccable coffee, beautiful crockery, tasty food, well-served and well-presented. Friendly, polite, and available staff.

- • At the hotel bar, we ordered a drink and it came with a mix of nuts and dried fruits as a side... inside there was a pebble that I ate... luckily, I didn't break my teeth. We know that incidents like this can happen, although undesirable... But what made me very angry was the lack of concern when we complained. They took the little jar away with a slight apology and nothing else!!! They didn't even bring a new jar, we didn't see them inform anyone or anything... they didn't even offer the drink on the house or offer, I don't know... a complimentary drink... absolutely nothing... we were horrified, but I don't like making scenes so we just left the bar. People, one of the best hotels in Buenos Aires!!
