Fantastic Stay at Four Seasons Resort Bali At Sayan
It was overall an amazing experiences. The whole staff was very friendly ALL the time. The view from the Ayung Terrace into the jungle is unbelievable. The SPA experiences were simply outstanding. The whole resort was clean, our "room" in the main building (2 levels) was just perfect for us. Next time we'd like to stay in on of the villas which offers also a plunge pool. The resort offers several restaurants which we experienced all - all great: cocktails (I could recommend the Bee Sting), balinese food - amazing. Just one tip: get used to mother natures sind - you hear the river all day which we didn't find disturbing however it took as a night to get used to night music from the frogs :) We also experienced the "can you keep a secret" - tour which is absolutely recommendable as it shows little different insights than tourists would experience. Overall it was one of the best vacations we ever had, top level from staff, food, area. Thanks to all members of the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan.

Four Seasons Sayan - More than 5 stars
We have been to the Four Seasons Sayan now several times and this time is no different - nothing has changed. The team led by a very capable Resort Manager Tim Churchmack are still outstanding. The word "no" doesn't exist at this resort. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the airport and of course on arrival to the resort. Throughout our 7 days we were treated by all as if we were family - excellent service from the reception to the pool, restaurants and spa. A special mention needs to go to the Chefs - led by Chef Suta all the chefs including Sous Chef's Ong and Paul could not do enough for us preparing food that was suitable for our diets that may not necessarily be on the menu - thank you to you all. We look forward to returning.

Double birthday visit before our cruise
Beyond our best expectations, supremely hospitable, with a very chilled vibe but also so efficient....my wife said they almost anticipated her needs before she even thought about it! The Villa (No.58 I think...) was stunning, enormous but also so intimate and private. After our very tiring flights from London it was an absolute joy to fall asleep in one of the most comfortable beds imaginable. My wife and I were both celebrating our birthday, a day apart, the hotel gave us both beautifully delicious cakes on each night, plus very generously a bottle of champagne 🥂 Two nights were really not enough - we'd love to return.

A beautiful, relaxing oasis
The Four Seasons at Sayan is a gorgeous, calming oasis in the middle of the Balinese jungle. The best part about it is the people - every person there could not have been more friendly, more helpful, more kind, more genuine. With a sick child, the staff showed genuine concern and had a doctor to our room in no time. They looked after us to see how else they could make things comfortable while he was under the weather. They also arranged local activities, including a guided tour of local temples, and an amazing river-rafting tour. The grounds are gorgeous and we spent half a day just walking around and exploring nature. The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with amazing view over the river. I recommend it wholeheartedly, you will love it!

Exceptional Four Seasons Experience
We had a wonderful experience at Four Seasons Bali at Sayan. The resort is beautifully maintained and manicured lending to its relaxing vibe. Our riverside villa was the perfect place to relax. It was extremely comfortable, immaculately clean and maintained, and the perfect set-up to take in the surrounding jungle and the sounds of the Ayung river. The entire staff is EXCEPTIONAL. They made us feel like family and were always available to insure our ongoing comfort and to make sure we always had everything we needed. The food was top of class and always prepared perfectly. We enjoyed every meal, in every restaurant. We especially enjoyed evening cocktails at Ayung terrace. The bar staff is extremely attentive and friendly and the rotating evening entertainment made each evening a special affair. We had several spa treatments at the Sacred River Spa. The spa itself if an oasis of relaxation, and the spa staff and therapist are some of the best we have encountered. Special thanks to Dwi, the spa manager, and Oka, the assistant spa manager for making us feel so welcomed. A special acknowledgment to Agung the Director of Rooms, Dewa from Food and Beverage, and Edi the Guest Experience Manager, all for going above and beyond to make our experience the most memorable and special. We initially stayed at Sayan for three nights and then departed to a neighboring resort. We missed Sayan so much that we departed the neighboring resort after one night, and returned for three more nights. There is simply no other resort that can match the ambiance and magic of Four Seasons Sayan in Bali. Matur suksma to everyone at Four Seasons Bali at Sayan for making this trip one that we will never forget.

Four Seasons Bali at Sayan - Honeymoon Ruined by Food Poisoning
My husband and I got severe food poisoning from the Sayan Valley Picnic on our honeymoon arrival day. We were both violently ill for our entire two-night stay - I vomited in the lobby bathroom, my husband couldn't leave our room, and we were unable to fully enjoy anything we had planned and paid for: couples massage, elephant excursion, floating breakfast, or any of the honeymoon amenities. The on-site staff were incredibly kind and compassionate during our illness, providing tea, oatmeal, flowers, and golf cart assistance. They did everything they could to help. However, management's response to this serious food safety incident was deeply disappointing. After 11 days of communication, their "recovery" offer was: a publicly available 20% discount (available to any guest on their website), one complimentary dinner, and one spa treatment we had to request. No accountability, no urgency, minimal compensation for a completely ruined honeymoon. As loyal Four Seasons guests, we expected better. The property is beautiful, but getting food poisoning on your honeymoon and receiving minimal accountability is unacceptable at any hotel, let alone Four Seasons.

A honeymoon to remember....
We came here for our honeymoon, and I have to say it was the sweetest choice I’ve ever made. The resort is incredibly calm, beautiful, friendly, and luxurious. We stayed in a Duplex Suite, a spacious two-floor room that truly felt like home. The first floor had a bedroom and bathroom, while the second floor featured a living room, balcony, and an additional bathroom. It was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Trisna, and I was given a bouquet of roses, which was such a lovely touch. Check-in was super fast and smooth. As it was a rainy day, Agus and Denny took us to our room by buggy. Although the buggy path was a bit narrow with some tight turns, they made us feel safe and comfortable, and we enjoyed friendly conversations along the way. In the evening, we visited Jati Bar, where we met Ida Bagus and Karang. Since my husband is very interested in mixology and drinks, they connected instantly. We didn’t even realize that we had spent two hours there enjoying drinks and snacks. Special thanks to Ida Bagus for the delicious piña colada! The next morning, we had breakfast at Ayung Terrace. There was a wide variety of food and beverage selections. The staffs (Nustri, Lisa, and Darmini) were very proactive, helpful, and engaging. We were also attended by Mr. Ary and Mr. Dewa, who were extremely friendly and attentive, checking on the food, drinks, and our overall breakfast experience. Everything was immaculate. After breakfast, we decided to try the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, which provided incredible pain relief. Ngurah was very kind and guided us to the lockers and spa facilities. Devi, who answered my phone call, was also very helpful in providing the steamer we requested. Checkout was seamless and just as fast as check-in. We had a couple of bills from previous nights, which were presented clearly, making payment quick and easy. Thank you to Inna and Edi for their assistance. The property is beautifully maintained, and the overall staff service exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely love to come back again in the near future.

Could Not Ask For A Better Stay
First and foremost a huge shoutout to the entire grounds and landscape team that work tirelessly out of the spotlight to make FS Sayan a green and beautiful resort. Your hard work and dedication has not gone unnoticed by my wife and I. We completed a repeat stay (see our review from October 2024). The decision to return was very easy… the decision to return a third time in the future has already been decided and it is a no-brainer for us. For a second year in a row we have received the absolute best royal treatment from the entire staff… Top to Bottom! Meeting Executive Sous Chef Suta and seeing Sous Chef Ong again was a joy. They both are so kind and generous of their time and talent. Restaurant mangers Handre, Ari and Dayu always greeted us with a warm and sincere smile. We enjoyed every interaction with servers Lin, Respati, Diah, Ing, Gita, Intan, Evin and many others. Spa Supervisor Made gave us a personal tour of the new location and it is beautiful. Both my wife and I enjoyed two spa treatments during our stay. Our therapists Mia, Bela, Rusmini and Nadi were kind, gentle and excellent. A very special shout out to Guest Experience Manager Edi for everything that you did to enhance our entire stay. We thank you and the entire management team. We shall meet again!❤️

The best dishes by Chef Paul and the amazing view at Ayung Terrace made for an unforgettable experience!
I had lunch at Ayung Terrace the view was amazing, and the food was exceptional. The talented Chef Paul created a special dish for us based on our preferences. He was very engaging and recommended menu items that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to enjoy the view and try more of Chef Paul’s culinary creations. It was really amazing experience.
