Excellent location and nice hotel, walking distance to all places.
Location was excellent. Next to the pedestrian street and elephant hill and Pagodas. The hotel is in front of a beautiful wide riverside walkway. Rooms are not as big, but good size. Beds are ok not as confortable as other Sheratons but good enough. Breakfast very good and in a very nice open area. Concierge very helpfull and very nice gentleman ( only little english) The concierge help us book a boat cruise down the Li River for a beautifu scenery and rich landscape culture, and he help us to have a personal driver who pick us up at the end of the cruise at Yangshou and drive is to the Ruyi Peak Ropeway, then drive us back to Guilin.

Pillow with Suspected Biological Substance After 8 hours of sleep, I discovered dark, dried stains resembling blood on the pillow (photo evidence). Management declined responsibility, stating procedures were followed – implying guest causation. No remediation offered. 2. Confirmed Human Feces in Bathroom Noticed an unidentified object on the bathroom floor post-shower. Physical examination confirmed ≈10g of human feces (photo evidence). Staff acknowledged: "Bathroom inspection was overlooked during cleaning." Contamination was removed without further investigation. 3. Immediate Safety Failure in Relocated Room The replacement room’s balcony door handle detached due to loose screws upon initial operation (photo evidence), indicating poor maintenance. Additional Deficiencies Air quality: required full-window ventilation due to irritants causing persistent coughing. Non-functional AC: No observable difference between 26°C and 18°C settings. Outdated infrastructure: Cramped layout, low ceilings, visibly worn furnishings. Value concern: Priced 30-50% above comparable nearby properties. Objective Travel Advisory Exercise extreme caution. Management demonstrated negligence regarding biological hazards and safety protocols. At USD 100+/night, this represents poor value. Families should prioritize properties with rigorous hygiene standards.

It’s very close to the four lakes, pedestrian streets, the river, a perfect place to enjoy Guilin without a hassle, the breakfast was excellent and it’s also just a stroll away from a lot of local restaurants if you want to try.

- • I had a room facing the Main Street. The sound insulation of the room is very bad. I was woken up every morning around 7 am by traffic and people shouting in the street. The staff in the hotel reception, bar and restaurant hardly speak English. Bar and restaurent staffs are poorly trained. I had dinner in the restaurent one evening and I ordered a steak medium cooked. It turned out to be completely overcooked. After I complained to the manager, they offered to replace my steak. For the price they charge, it is not worth it.

Location was very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of western food items. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool after coming tired from the rice terraces. The room was quite spacious with comfortable bed. I will recommend the hotel to everyone especially for family with kids.

- • En general las instalaciones son pobres y algunas poco cuidadas. Nos pareció muy caro y malo para la supuesta calidad de un Sheraton. La bañera era enana, no se podía usar. La tapa del wc la habían cambiado por un "wc inteligente" pero era de un tamaño distinto y se ajustaba muy mal. Pedimos la mejor habitación, y la más cara, pero no estaba a la altura de lo pagado, fue una gran decepción.

- • The check-in process was chaotic. The staff couldn't find our booking initially, after they found it and we checked in, we had to wait for our room to be ready. Waiting was fine, but after waiting for half an hour, they were confused as to whether we were checked in or not. There was a J&J event that day, and the staff couldn't handle the crowd efficiently.

- • My room should be with the view of the garden but they gave me a room facing the street and very far from the elevator, and the equipment was too old specially the bathroom ,the room was very small,they don’t speak English at reception :( only the concierge can speak little bit :p

- • Noisy. Windows are not double glassed, so constant street noise and neighbouring rooms. Reserved a club level hottub room. No club lounge or advantages and hottub was only a small bath. My bad expected a jacuzzi.

- • the room decor was dated and the air con didn't really work. the outdoor swimming pool wasn't heated which wasn't clear from the description, therefore we could not use during our stay. the open view restaurant in the pictures shown is booking only which was not clear from the description overall, the experience was slightly disappointing

Chegamos com malas no táxi e ninguém se prontifica a ajudar. Tratam estrangeiros como lixos e deixam bem claro que não gostam de nós. No quarto a geladeira vazia, não tem sequer uma água mineral. O banheiro não tem sequer um bidê ou chuveiro de vaso. Foram extremamente mal educados e fizeram questão de dizer que nós, estrangeiros, não somos bem vindos. O quarto que nos entregaram não era o que foi contratado. Fiz uma denúncia no booking, porém eles respondem respostas genéricas, copiadas e coladas de um protocolo, e evitam falar em todas as denúncias que fizemos.

First time in Guilin and this hotel has offered its best to us. Room was very spacious. Staffs were very helpful which made our stay even better. Minute walk to 步行街 with lots of shops and dining option. Will definitely book again.
