- • Had a problem with the Sommelier who sent us a different wine than ordered. When I noticed, he didn't handle it well. Reported it to the front desk, they said they would investigate and report back at check-out, but no mention was made. I had to bring it up again. Also, the coffee machine is not maintained. Staff at the front desk and restaurant seem to gather in groups and chat a lot, looks like they are missing a floor manager. Still Dublin's best hotel, but things are slipping. I hope someone stops the decline before it becomes a trend

Absolutely stellar hotel. Amazing service. Great food and drink. Lovely grounds. And such a comfortable and attractive room. Wish I could move in.

Apart from the fact that our room was located on the Ground Floor, which was not good, everything else about the hotel was very good, such as the location, cleanliness, breakfast, service, etc., all very nice. One detail: the hotel's shampoo is of high quality.

- • We were given a room on the ground floor, which I felt was not worth it. Given the high cost of this hotel, I certainly wouldn't want to stay on a floor like this; had I known beforehand, I would definitely have chosen a different hotel. What I mean is, given that this is one of the top-tier hotels, you might as well clearly differentiate your pricing so that guests have a choice—I might well have been willing to pay more to stay in a better room in the first place, rather than being faced with a surprise like this.
